This is perfect location for our group with 3 RV’s! Awesome place to camp and easy access to their private docks to the KENAI River with exceptional fishing! Friendly staff and the facility offers restrooms w/ Showers, laundry area, full hookups and they have a fish cleaning station with running water down on the river 😎. Definitely recommended!

Campsite was great and fishing was too. The bathrooms were clean and well taken care of. The staff was super helpful, even letting us get some last minute things when they were closed up. I highly suggest coming here if you plan on fishing in a friendly environment, or just need a place to crash for a few nights. Thank you all! It was a great experience.

After spending 90 glorious days in Alaska at RV campgrounds across Alaska my experience at Edgewater was really bad. 5 reasons not to stay at this site. 1) the office manager is a crook and dishonest. He charged me too much and even though he has told me I will get the overpaid amount back he is not refunding any money and now has blocked my calls 2) one entire row of campsites is literally feet from a very busy intersection and we heard exhaust breaks and motors all night long 3) row 3 of campsites is right next to the sewage dump and smells horrific 4) since the new bridge has been built fishing at this location is sub par 5) all the sites are crammed way to close together. Kenai fishing is amazing, but edgewater would be my absolute last choice of campgrounds to choose from. There are so many better places to stay and fish.

We love this place. It's not fancy. It is in Soldotna and there is road noise and bustle. It is clean and friendly, the sites have ok space between them, and a big dog park is 10 minutes away. Next to the property on the same lot as Alaskan Tackle, in a drive thru red shed, is Smokehouse BBQ. It is a WOW! Edgewater is right on the river with private fishing access. You will need waders or hip boots. If you know what you are doing (flossing), you will catch your limit. This is a definite next time we are in Soldotna.

Poor planning on my end resulted in us without a campground space. Edgewater accommodated us during their busiest season. Facility was organized, clean and quiet. They were extremely friendly. I couldn’t recommend them more!
