We called the office and asked if we could arrive early. The lady was very accommodating. We checked in with no problems. The sites are extra large and can accommodate your tow vehicle with no problem. The laundry room was fine. There are no trees to help with the blaring sun though, and the only other problem we had was there was only one bar for the Internet. I could not even hook up to our TV.

Absolutely Wonderful Stay – Safe, Cozy, and Scenic! As a female solo traveler, choosing a place to stay can sometimes be nerve-wracking—but El Rancho Village RV & Cabins in Wheatland, WY, completely put me at ease. From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly safe and welcomed. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and genuinely peaceful. I stayed in one of the cabins, and it was both spacious and absolutely adorable—far more than I expected! The large fridge and microwave made it easy to settle in for an extended stay. I brought a few extras with me that made longer-term life a breeze: bottled water, a small table for cooking, and the supplies that go along with that. If you're planning a longer visit, I’d recommend the same. The other guests at the park were kind and respectful, and the overall community vibe was just lovely. What really sets this place apart, though, are the views—absolutely stunning! Whether you're into stargazing or storm watching, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a safe, peaceful getaway—especially if you’re traveling alone and want somewhere you can truly relax. I’ll definitely be back!

This place served our needs, but we probably won't visit again. As mentioned in other reviews, the campground doesn't seem to have anyone maintaining the grounds, such as mowing/edging. However, there was a sprinkler behind the gazebo that ran the entire time we were there and was never moved. I only noticed the office being open once, which was when we checked in. On the topic of checking in, we actually stayed at the KOA in Douglas the night before, which is only about an hour from El Rancho RV Park. We called the office while we were on our way to see if we could check in early, but no one answered, and we left a voice message saying we would be an hour or two early and asking if we could check in. They did attempt to call us back, but we missed the call for whatever reason. They did not leave a voice message for us, but did text "You can check in at 1 pm." When we arrived on-site, the office was closed. There is practically nothing else around this place, so rather than driving up and down the highway with our trailer, we sat in the truck for over an hour waiting. Our arriving on-site early wasn't their fault, but the park was at maybe 30% capacity, and our site was open. There was no reason we should not have been able to check in early. While we were waiting, an elderly couple with a flat tire happened to drop by asking for help. Again, the office was closed, so I helped them out by putting air in their tires. Luckily, my truck has a generator on it so that I could use my air compressor. The sites are very long. With our small trailer, I could have parked two other trucks there, in addition to my truck and trailer. Like I said, it worked for what we needed, but it's not a well-kept park and park management could use some customer service skills training and have published office hours that are kept.

Stayed here one night on the way from Colorado to Gillette, Wyoming. Excellent location, quick on/off I-25. Interstate noise was surprisingly minimal. The host was exceptional. We made connection with RV park after hours on Saturday, hoping for a Sunday evening stay. Sent both email and voice message. Was contacted within 5 minutes and was able to reserve the last vacant spot. All because the on property host was attentive. We stayed on site 3, and found it to be level and convenient to the clean bathrooms. The host went out of her way to ensure we felt welcome. We will definitely try to stay here again when traveling I-25 through Wyoming.

Easy in and out. Very long and roomy full hook up sites. Bath house and laundry clean. Manager very accommodating and friendly. Off the interstate but close to a lot of historical markers and ft Laramie and Wheatland.

Basic gravel parking lot along I-25. But the sites are spaceous and the toilet/shower building was clean. Didn't see anyone in the office coming or going - totally a non-contact stay.

Great place. Quiet, friendly staff, close to the interstate for easy on and off access. Sites have full hookups, water, sewer, 30 and 50 amp service. Sites are fairly lever, only used one leveling block. Showers and restrooms are very clean, didn’t use laundry facilities but they looked nice as well. We had to change sites when we arrived and the staff was more then accommodating. Will definitely be back.

Pulled in late our way south to Denver area. Great access from highway, good footing, clean power, water, well set up and buddy setups if you like. Overflow cabins if you'd like a place for your extra guest (or some much needed privacy). Good stopover for an overnight, better if you'd like a few days of tranquility. Manager said reservations are coming in fast for the summer
