This is a nice, family-friendly campground with easy access for all types of vehicles. Restrooms and water are available on-site, and the beach is just a short walk away. Firewood is available from the camp host for $10 per bundle. It’s best to make a reservation in advance—while there are some first-come, first-serve spots, they’re very limited and hard to get, so don’t rely on them.

Beautiful and clean campsites! Nice, big, clean lake, great for fishing and water activities. Will definitely come back again. Camp host, Lizzy, was kind and helpful!

Sunset Campground at Union Valley Reservoir is one of my favorite camping spots. The location is beautiful with lake access just a short walk from most sites, and the forest setting is peaceful and relaxing. The campsites are spaced out enough to give you privacy, and everything is clean and well maintained. What really made our stay stand out were the camp hosts, Floyd and Ginny. They’re just awesome. Friendly, helpful, and always around if you need anything. You can tell they really care about the campground and the people staying there. Floyd gave us some great tips about the area, and Ginny was so kind and welcoming, it really added a personal touch to the whole experience. There is cell service at the campground, which was a nice bonus if you need to check in or look something up. But it still feels like you’re getting away from it all. Between the lake, the peaceful atmosphere, and the amazing hosts, this place is an easy five stars. We’ll absolutely be back.

Wife and I camp here at least once a year with our two pups.... When the water is high in June, trout fishing is pretty good. Later in the year, we fish for Bass. Campgrounds are normally pretty well kept. It's hard to get a reservation, so we just look for fist come sites...

Well, this was my family and I first time at this campsite and we had at pleasant experience regardless of what the previous post have said about Ed, he wasn't rude toward us. The campsite was clean the bathroom was stocked well with tissue but it could have been serviced it was smelly but hey it's a porta potty...it wasn't dirty. The water was nice it great to be able to walk trails to find places to enjoy quiet moments. 10/10 will return.

All-around great camping spot, with steel Bear boxes available, a basic restroom, fire pit and picnic tables for each campsite. The lake is close, and you can jet ski or fish or boat or water ski if you like and have the equipment.

A beautiful and affordable place to camp at, has restrooms and running water. Beside the restrooms being a mess it was an amazing experience by the water

It just opened last week. The fishing is good and the campgrounds are immaculate. The lake is warm enough to swim too.one of favorites for sure.

Nice place to go camping. Table, fire pit, storage unit per site, toilets, showers, good roads. 28$ per night. Overall great, but sites are too close to each other.
