The facilities themselves are okay, but the type of clientele staying here makes the overall experience questionable at best. Our check-in was friendly and the full hook-up site reasonably clean as were the restrooms and the laundry. The owner strongly warned us about moose in the area – but honestly, he should have warned us about the loud, rowdy crowd that seemed to dominate this campground. On our second night there was an explosion, followed by sheriff and ambulance on site. Later, a fight broke out right behind us, with the sheriff still present the next morning to keep things under control. We were just glad to leave this place.

Amazing customer service and very flexible camping schedule. I had originally booked one night and then changed to 2 nights the day of my reservation and they were able to accommodate without hesitation. We got tent site by the lake and it was absolutely magical at nights and in the mornings. We woke up to see a herd of elks grazing around the campgrounds. The restrooms were clean and there is a store on the campgrounds where you could buy souvenirs, snacks and camping gear. The staff is very friendly and super helpful, my husband got a headachethe day we left and when the store didn't have any Tylenol, one of the staff members gave us her personal Tylenol in order to accommodate our needs. The campsite made us feel like a true home away from home, we will be staying again soon!

Nice spot at the south end of Redwoods National and State Parks. The campground offers large spaces with plenty of room. The setting is great and the Elk passed through a few times on our stay. We stayed at a site with 30 amp, water, and sewer. Basic amenities like shower & laundry are on site but unsure of cost or quality as we did not use on our stay. Areas for improvement: the campground is on the dated end of its lifecycle, it could use a few updates and upgrades. They charge for extra vehicles ‘due to limited space’, however they have plenty of space both in the lot and at sites. Overall, we would recommend but would likely try out a different campground if we returned to Redwoods.

This was our favorite stop on our road trip. We stayed 2 days and wish we could have stayed more. The property is absolutely beautiful. So well maintained and just a really nice property. Office manager was great and helpful. The lake on the property was so peaceful. We saw a big herd of elk at about 6am. Pretty level spots, decent amount of room between spots too. Laundry room and bathrooms were clean and everything worked. They were dog friendly. Close to the Redwoods, fern canton and more

We loved it here so much that we extended our stay twice. We enjoyed the serenity and lush forest. The little lake is beautiful with a small trickling waterfall running to it. The grounds are breathtaking. The staff in the office was amazing to us. We live full time on the road out of our converted school bus, and we were nervous about staying in a campground, but they made us feel right at home. We even had to have some packages delivered and they brought them out to our site to give them to us. We did get to see a huge heard of elk almost every day that we were there, it was such a treat! Needless to say, we will definitely be back in the future!

We pulled off because of the elk but we're immediately turned around by a rude lady that said it was private property. Mind you, we were on the entrance road and blocked by a herd of elk crossing! Great way to do business, of customer service was nicer we may have considered staying, then again judging by the reviews best to stay away.

Nice little RV park and campground. A little hiking and horseshoes to provide a little fun. The sites were good sized, picnic tables in good shape, and restroom / showers were overall well kept. It also has a little shop / office for those minor purchases if need be. Relatively close to some beaches and some good going trails in the Redwood National Forest, plus close to some small towns and not that far from Eureka. There is also an Elk herd that roams around that was interesting to see and hear.

Stayed here in a tent for 4 nights. The atmosphere is wonderful. There's plenty of shade. They have a small lake/pond on the property where we saw wild otters. You're 15 minutes from Redwood Park and 5 minutes from a beach by car. The elk on the property are quite the sight to observe from a distance if you appreciate wildlife. The only issues I had are the bathrooms and showers. They needed to be completely cleaned out more frequently. I needed to use the shower because I'd been there for a few days and to the beach. I had to kill 2 spiders before I could use that shower.

We booked 2 night here 1 night n the prairie and 1 night in the woods. the staff are friendly and views are awesome! The elk came right next to your trailer on the prairie in the mornings! We would definitely stay here again!!

Do not stay here. We paid quite a bit for this scenic RV park. The wild elk were awesome to see but that is all that is good about this expensive "resort". Found out that the showers were only usable if you paid for them. For 5 minute shower it cost $3.50. Only 2 shower stalls that were super small. Money machine took only quarters. No change machine in the showers. There was one in the laundry room but it was broken. Hard to park our Class A RV in our assigned spot due to other campsite vehicles. There was a cabin right next to us (6'). And another rental trailer on the other side just as close as the cabin. No picnic table or fire ring. Paid for 2 nights, stayed only 1 night. Would not recommend this over priced "RV Resort". Far from a resort.
