Elkamp Campground is INCREDIBLE…a magical rainforest dream come true! Everything here is perfection—the friendly owners, the large, comfy sites, the spotless bathrooms, the coffee shop is a little slice of heaven, and the sunset field in an Adirondack chair, drink in hand, is paradise. it’s just a stone’s throw from Mt. Rainier, making it the perfect base for exploring. I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful place that totally stole my heart! Thank you Brian and Tom for an amazing stay!

I would definitely stay here again, the whole campground felt very well thought out with personal touches that made it feel cozy. The private heated washrooms and shower was so appreciated! There was mowed trials with chairs in the meadow for sitting and relaxing. I came from Canada on my own to explore and felt totally safe. The cute little town of Elbe is near by with a general store and restaurants. Mount Rainer is about an hour away to the upper lot, but less to the park entrance.

Elkamp is absolutely magical, from the forest to the creek and walking paths. Campsites are spacious and beautiful. The entire campground is clean, tidy and well-organized while both the owners are welcoming and helpful. Its proximity to Mount Rainier National Park allowed my friend and I to have a leisurely start to our day, and still beat the crowds at the park entrance. I will return to Elkamp time and time again. Thank for a memorable stay Brian and Tom!

We stayed at Elkamp for 4 nights and it was quiet and very private. Very clean and spacious shower. The coffee camper was great for a morning Latte and Brian was a great host and barista. Highly recommend and easy drive to Mount Rainier.

We camped here for a few nights right at the peak of meadow flowers blooming in Mt. Rainier park. The camp was clean with remodeled bathrooms and coin operated showers. There's a nice little creek and big meadow next to the campgrounds that they've setup pathways and outdoor seating for people to enjoy the quiet view. The owners run a coffee stand and nice gift shop on the weekends. Overall it was beautiful and just what our family needed!

We loved our stay at Elkamp. We were only there for one night, but the whole campsite was so beautiful. Lots of big trees, and was truly amazing when waking up in the morning. All of the tent pitches were well maintained. Hosts were super friendly and gave us a courtesy call before we arrvied to make sure everything was okay and to give us instructions if we arrived late. Bathrooms were nice and clean, shower room was big. One downside was the shower cost $1 for 6 minutes, but it really wasn't a big deal. Good location for trips to Mount Rainier. Would highly recommend.

Best campground, EVER!! My husband and I are in the area to stay at a cabin nearby, but wanted to come up a day early and Elkamp had the perfect tent site for us. Owners, Brian and Tom are so warm and welcoming, it's unreal. Brian got us checked in after our late arrival and Tom got a fire started for us in no time (we didn't bring our usual camp gear, only a lighter ha!). The campground is pristine and the bathrooms are clean beyond expectation. We enjoyed a foggy walk through the field by lantern light, and then sipped coffee from the lounge chairs and enjoyed the beautiful autumn colors of the landscape around us. We typically dispersed camp, but we are so pleased with this serene, ELEVATED camping experience . Thank you for making our anniversary/birthday trip extra special. We will be back and will recommend to everyone!!!!!

Friendly owners! They've turned what was a mechanic shop into a tasteful mercantile type boutique full of gorgeous locally inspired souvenirs and a nice selection of books about camping, hiking, RVs and teardrop trailers, etc. Beautiful campsites! A gorgeous creek and a beautiful field of tall golden grass... Affordable nightly rates. Great spot to stop on the way to Mount Tahoma/Mt. Rainier! Also their high-end gourmet popcorn is ridiculously good. (I got the salted caramel.)

Easy to book, friendly staff, clean and quiet camp ground. We will definitely be back! The bathrooms were clean and close, the bark dust tent spaces were great. Overall, no complaints!

This sprawling mountain getaway is unlike any other experience out we have ever found. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. But the best part is the little mercantile they’ve created for their guests. It’s curated so perfectly for us traveling/hiking/climbing folks. Just amazing here!!!
