Elko RV Park
Donald Parker
Older park with many full timers , park could use some sprucing up. All the hookups worked fine and the place was quiet. The office staff was friendly and worked well for a short period.

I thought the RV park was in Elko. No, actually it's about fifteen minutes (twelve miles) east of Elko in a little municipality called Ryndon. Apparently the reputation precedes it.

Four stars due to how close to I-80 our site was. The staff could not be nicer. Interior roads and sites were washed gravel with little dust. Our site had little shade with plenty of room between sites.

Price, pull through and full hookups adequate. Office staff friendly. Nothing much else to say… many long term rigs. Small grassy place for pups. BUT LOTS OF GOAT HEADS to stick in their paws.

Parked us in B6 on top of goat heads. There were plenty of empty spaces with no goat heads!

I called and was told there was only one site left so I reserved the site with a credit card. As it turns out the traveler next to me was told the same. Apparently we were told this to commit to the park. There were many empty sites. The other traveler and I were assigned B6 and B7 right on top of plants with terrible goat heads. The whole “C” row was available with no goat heads. This made connecting our utilities very difficult. We were told the park was next to Interstate 80, it was so the traffic noise was bothersome. I would not stay here a second time!

Watchout for the stickers they are all over and terrible for your shoes and animals. They need to rid the park of these before we stop here again.

Good basic service, an economical stop on the way to Utah

Very nice stay at this RV park. Bathrooms were clean and sites were large and easily fit our truck, trailer, and extra vehicle.

The park was excellent for what we needed. The spaces are large and easily defined. It was quiet and had plenty of room in the back fields to walk our dog and enjoy the stream. The host was very nice and made sure we had the best site she had for our stay.

Easy checking and communication with hosts, flat gravel sites, overall good RV Park, full hookups works great and night lights are on for safety. The freeways is next to this place for easy access, and if we didn't have the AC going we could hear all the freeway noise.

This park receives 2 stars - 1 for its proximity off I 80, and 1 for its modern washers and dryers. It offers not much else. This is an old gravel lot, desperately in need of upkeep. There are hookups. They work fine. But there is nothing much else. No atmosphere, not inviting to be outside at all. And there was often a foul odor. A bit rough around the edges. The wifi is some of the worst we have experienced. The office person who checked us in was nice, and her dog was a cutie. But I would never return.

Dirty and run down. WiFi sketchy. Weird people. Don’t stay here unless it’s your last resort…,⬇️😬

Rude management white Ford truck reving his engine every morning at 5 am birds feasies all over everything had a creepy guy peeking in Windows at 1 in the morning with a flashlight a little brown dog barking all day and all night couldn't sleep if I wanted to ask a business owner I understand somethings can't be controlled but I highly recommend not staying here if you want sleep or any kind of relaxation spend the extra money and stay far away from this place

This is the worst smell of human waste that covers the park . Got woken up by a couple with a little brown dog screaming at some pour old lady at 11pm shining flash lights in her windows scaring the hell out of her the woken up again by a truck revealing his engine for 30 minutes at 5 in the morning blasting diesel exhaust in my windows making me run outside for air just to step in dog crap this place is something out of a Steven King novel if you think about slowly down near this park done save money save your sanity and run run far far away from this place I'm never going to get these smells out of the RV
