Fantastic place for a night, a week or a month. It’s the end of October and the weather has been pleasant - my holdout until the southern temps recede and in the meantime there’s plenty to do and see around here. Lots of walking trails and there’s a small pet cemetery. This is probably my one of the best parks I’ve stayed in.

Campground was clean. We had reserved an RV site for our 42' trailer with slide-outs both sides. The site we originally were booked into, NOT OUR CHOOSING, had a large tree curved into the RV site. This created problems with us either opening our kitchen and living room slides or opening our front door. Staff acted irritated that we requested a new site. They asked us to pull either all the way forward or all the way to the back of the site. I stated the only way we could open all slides and use the front door was to have the trailer half hanging out into the road. They stated I needed to pay more for a "site near the road." I told them, no, that they had the specs for our trailer when we made the reservation and that they had chosen our site based on those specs.. They said they were "FULL" and they could not move us... but they were not full and there were SO MANY empty sites both days were were there. I asked if they would please remove the tree since they told us the campground was full and they couldn't move us...but they eventually they did move us to another site. They stated that, "if this doesn't work for you, you have to pay for a road site." The site worked fine. However, they stated it was a 65" site.... WRONG. Our 42" trailer filled the site from front to back. Our PAYING guests who were staying with us requested a map of the park to which they were told, "One will be given to the party in the RV." We were told not to flush "wipes, paper towels, or TP" as they were on septic. ALSO- there are SEVERAL residents who live at the park in either RVs or in modulars- we like KOAs because USUALLY they don't have people living at the park. This was disappointing. Needless to say, we will not stay here again.

No rooms were used. The staff was very nice and professional. The facilities were nice. But I'm not too overly impressed with the dirt roads. They could be graded and have dirt suppression compound put down to reduce the dust. The sites are not very level and uneven. I broke nearly every wood block I had trying to get my camper level. The dog park is fenced in but in very rough shape with stickers allowed to grow in there that can (and did) hurt my dogs feet. I feel that for the fees being charged that the KOA should step it up a little and more the quality up a little bit.

Loved the covered wagon! It was surprisingly roomy and comfortable. There were places to set bags and cooler. The decor was friendly and homey, and the table was nice for working and eating. I liked having a lockable door at night. What a fun experience! The camp showers were very clean, and the grounds had lots to do. What a great KOA, one of the very best!

We stayed here 3 nights in a tent spot. The bathrooms were immaculate. Modern, clean, well furnished. Nice and friendly staff, long opening hours for the office/store. Tent sites were in a very nice green, grassy and shaded area. Completely not what I expected in a remote western location. We used this location to visit Great Basin national park for 2 days. It’s about an hour drive away, but for us, the convenience and cleanliness of this KOA was well worth the drive.

Pulled in off hwy 50 while traveling, it was clean and quiet. Showers were amazing after a long day of driving. Easy off and on hwy. Highly recommend.

The RV park is very well maintained. The bathrooms are super clean and the grounds are very well maintained. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The dog parks could use a little love. The RV sites are spacious with most of them with trees. Definitely one of the better KOAs we've stayed at.

This was a nice quiet campground. We stayed in one of the 2 covered wagons, which we've always wanted to do, and it was no nice inside! Really cute bedding on the king bed and bunk beds. The bathrooms were super clean and looked newly remodeled. Shower was hot. Great selection of items in the general store. I would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed here for a night on our way to Lake Tahoe. The RV park is right off the highway, so it was easy to find and easy to navigate to. The bathrooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. They also had a pretty extensive camp store for RV needs and souvenirs. We’d stay here again if in the area.

The only small thing I ever had an issue with here was literally parking my camper on even ground, but that’s as expected. Other than that, I stayed here for almost a year for work, and it was one of the best places I’ve been. Very friendly staff that helped me out when work got a bit hectic. I payed for multiple months at a time and they kept track of it and didn’t try to scam me out of any money. Final thing, it’s so quiet. If you want a peaceful place that the spaces are very spaced apart, people aren’t throwing parties 24/7, and you’re not next to a city where rush hour sounds like 30 freight trains going through your camper then go here. Most I ever heard were fireworks on the 4th of July, but other than that and the occasional big rig (once maybe every other week to every month when things inside my camper were quiet), everything was about as peaceful as it gets. Also they got propane hookups for long term residents that you don’t have to worry about as long as you pay $75 one time cost and about $350 for a full tank. Lasted me about 2 months to run it dry from full, so take that as you will. I want to come back, but I’ll have to see with my job.

Not quiet your typical KOA, I think better, quiet setting, the staff are all friendly and helpfull, everything you need is just a few blocks away.

Love this place. Clean and quiet. Loads of roads for walking and mountain bike riding from your camp site. Very well organized making it easy to get in and out of. Not sure why the restrooms are closed. Cost per night up and restrooms closed?

Really cool place. It was just cold when we were there. Spent a lot of time in the cabin so it was cozy. Power went out due to freak storm but was restored promptly. The store has a lot of the necessities you might need.
