This is one of the cutest campgrounds I have ever stayed in. The non electric sites feel like they’re deep in the woods, with massive tree canopy cover, and they’re huge. It almost feels like you’re not in a campground at all (in a good way). Really lovely. The only downside is: the showers are $0.50 for every 3 minutes. C’mon guys! Just get an Apple Pay terminal. Nobody carries quarters anymore!

Looooove it here! A marvelous stay every time! Staff is lovely. Camp sites are great. Drinking water access, ice for sale. Toilets are clean; flush toilet available if needed. Hot showers. Short drive to several beaches. It’s a real treat!

Great value campground within close driving distance of sleeping bear dunes. Very quiet and spacious sites, convenient dump station, good prices ($35 nightly for electric RV hookup), although you pay for that by not having WiFi or free showers(.50 cents per 3 minutes). Would definitely recommend to others looking to visit the dunes and nearby attractions!

This is a nice, quiet and well kept little campground! The rustic tent sites are well spaced from each other too. We actually appreciated the coin operated showers because we had hot water on demand!

This was a fantastic campground for our larger group. The group sites were very spacious and secluded — perfectly shaded and easy access to the toilets. It was quiet the whole time, and a perfect location for accessing all of the dunes-related activities. One of the best tent-friendly campgrounds I’ve ever stayed at! We’ll be back.

Just got back from Labor Day weekend 2021! Yolanda was awesome She took my information on the way to Michigan from Indiana. I had a really nice large site with woods all around me. The price was great $30 for 2 Vehicles and 2 Tents. So close to Sleeping Bear Dunes a 5 minute drive. I would highly recommend this Empire Township Campground. Fresh Drinking Water, Clean Bathrooms, Large Showers, Flushing Toilet near entrance & Pit Toilets near walking distance to all Campsites.

Pleasant campground. Staff was friendly. I would give it 5 stars but the firewood was damp and I had trouble getting it going and there were a few standing dead trees in my site that made me somewhat nervous with the storm that came through. Overall though the camp is clean and quiet for the most part. Showers are really really nice too.

Spectacular campground. Love visiting. Secluded, wooded spots and plenty of primitive camping. Very clean vault toilets.
