Easy local place but however , most of the people at the camp site obviously live ( nothing wrong with that ) could definitely point out that you were new. Not welcoming at all, walks by campsite and never says hello back or just anything friendly. Made a very uncomfortable unwelcome stay. Also will comment on your dogs if you have large dogs do not bring here. It is permitted , it states all over their website but as you bring them , they will comment on the dogs and drive by all night on a golf cart and point lights. My dogs are well behaved and yes they did bark ( a single bark) when someone walked by to alert me someone was near but they did not bark constantly and annoyingly. I am not one to say anything but as a campground . Be more friendly to your guest and don’t make them feel unwelcome, it’s an uncomfortable feeling and environment. Also you should just post dogs not permitted on your website as you pick and choose what dogs allow. And be more clear of it. Thanks

LOUD, LOUD, LOUD. This place is at the intersection of two Interstates AND has a train track running beside it. Truck traffic 24 hours a day. You need ear plugs to sleep at night. Men's bath very bad. A camper vacuumed up the cobwebs because the park staff would not. There are no shower curtains so that the floor outside the shower fills up with water. No place to sit to put on socks and shoes. The handles are missing from the shower controls making it very hard to adjust the temp. The many geese leave "stuff" on the driveway so you may have to zig zag getting to the bathrooms.

The staff was amazing, the other campers were great, the price was okay. Downfalls the train was annoying, the geese were taking over, the beach needs maintenance and the bathrooms outdated but we made the best of it. Would do it again

I would give this 0 ratings .. we called to make a reservation and on the Web site it says dogs are welcome and that they had a dog beach .. we live two hours away night before we had to check out Dave the old guy saw are dogs on a leash not barking friendly as ever minding their own business not barking at people anything they are great dogs and not to mind you our dog is a service dog with all the paper work .. he came to us and told us we was never to come back super rude which I kindly reminded him that our service dog is aloud anywhere with us and you can't deny our service here when I showed him our papers and card for the dog he stared to yell at me and said that we was never welcomed back that's when my husband came out and he was still being very rude as we was packing our stuff the next day he came back for the second time to remind us very rude that we was not welcomed back and we was okay with that and told him have a blessed day cause anywhere my dogs are not welcome our service dog we would never be back anyways their ducks on the camp sites are more aggressive then my dogs one bit my one year old 4 times in the chest and in the belly He is a very rude ole man the place was nasty the beach had trash all around the sides train tracks are right next to the place looks so it's super loud there is abandoned campers. So if you have a service dog any kinds I wouldn't recommend here it's terrible experience and will tell everybody DO NOT CAMP HERE !! Here's a picture of one of the bites from there ducks

So far so good. Owner is awesome, Price is great, lots are average size. Only complaint is the permanent residents seem to have a bit of an attitude, but nothing a knuckle sandwich won't fix.
