Very affordable and perfect for a fun camping getaway or tent or rv camping! Great fishing doc, lake, a.playground for the kids, plenty of room for everyone, very tranquil, dog friendly, clean restrooms, a pavilion room for parties/get togethers. My family comes here alot for parties and I could t.have asked for a better camp night! Very much recommend this!

Exceptionally quiet campground with plenty of availability about 30 minutes from Pensacola. The best internet/cell phone signal of any campground between Pensacola and Tallahassee. The park is pristine with a beautiful fishing lake complete with fish cleaning station. A nice , small playground for the kiddos with surrounding campsites. Bathrooms are exceptionally clean and well maintained. Across from the bathrooms is a nice reservable community room perfect for birthday party, small weddings or family reunion. This is occupied most weekends, so call ahead. If you're looking for a peaceful, quiet campground to rest and relax in, this is my #1 pick. Other campgrounds in the area are busy, noisy and tend to be full of self entitled campers. In addition to the above, this campground does not have overly bright nighttime lighting to prevent you from a good night's rest..

Beautiful campground owned by the county. Very reasonable prices. Attentive and friendly staff. Everything is meticulously maintained and the sites are all private and beautiful

Nicely kept campground. I was excited to camp the night, then the campground host came. He drove up on his golf cart took a look at my out-of-state license plate and then immediately threatened to call the cops because I had beer sitting on the picnic table. There was no “welcome, I see your from out of state, unfortunately you can not have beer and in the campground in the state of Florida” he said that there is no beer allowed at campgrounds in the state of Florida. Apparently that is a state park law which I guess this is, I don’t know, and not a state law on all campgrounds as advertised by host, I subsequently put my fire out and left for a hotel (I was traveling). I am a vet and firefighter so I am respectful person but was not treated with the same respect from host. I do not recommend this campground with current management. Not friendly at all!

Very nice area, great place to camp. Fishing is fair, don't expect to load the boat but can get enough to eat fishing on the bottom with worms.

Very nice, small campground. Pretty lake view. Nice gathering hall. The only negative was that the water pressure was terrible. Other than that, I would recommend it. The price is right.

Nice little campground, $20 per night. No sewer, only dump station. Road to boat ramp is just outside the campground but very close, you can see it from the campground. You can park your boat on the bank near your RV. Electric motors only.

It was good until someone tried to burn the people in the next site up. Their rv went up in flames. They found a gas can next to the bumper of their rv that wasn't theirs and shovels were placed up against both doors so they couldn't get out. They also had heavy metal poles on their exit door. Luckily everyone got out alright.

We often go get fast food and bring it to the boat ramp side for a peaceful little get away. Usually just a few people fishing and relaxing. It's never that crowded. This was one of those evenings and the sunset just made it that much better.
