Hey campers, this is THE place to stay! Been here quite a few times over the past three years, every time has been better each time I've come. Very well landscaped and maintained. The grounds are always in a great condition. There's a pool and spa next to the clubhouse, and also restrooms with coded access. The registration area, pool & spa, as well as the restrooms/showers are always immaculate, thanks to the hard work and attention to detail given by Lisette! The people of a business are the backbone of any operation, and she is no exception! Much appreciated.

The people who stay here are incredibly friendly, and the staff is welcoming, helpful, and genuinely hospitable. The resort offers great amenities and hosts amazing events that really bring everyone together. If you’re in the area or planning a trip, this is definitely the place to stay. If your visit happens to fall around a holiday, don’t miss the BBQ—they’re fantastic, and the grilled onions are surprisingly some of the best you’ll ever have! This place is truly a hidden gem.

Very nice resort! The staff here is very welcoming and helpful in the lobby they will help and they have games with complementary coffee, hot coca and tea. The pool area is nice to hang out and they even have some evens like movie night, popsicles, and root beer floats! I recommend staying here

We stayed at Escondido RV resort for over a year and had the best time. The location is perfect for accessing everything San Diego has to offer. The resort is the cleanest and most cozy feeling of every place we’ve stayed across the US as full time RVers. The parties they throw are top notch, have the best home cooked food and prizes. They are super kid and family friendly with private access to a park and playground. We spent so many happy days in the pool and hot tub. Chris, Stacy, Emma, Jose and Miguel work tirelessly to give each guest a memorable experience!

Lovely experience! We live on our rv full time and had a wonderful time here. The kids loved the clubhouse - daily hot cocoa, cookies & games. All the staff is so kind and very friendly. As my 9 year old said “mom the ladies were so nice.. they made me feel so invited.” The kids loved the craft. They really make you feel welcome. The park behind is also a huge plus - great to play and walk. The grounds itself are beautiful - very nature and trees. We will be back! :)

Really nice people, everything very clean and maintained. Some really nice sites up high on the terrace, but a long way from club house. Lower level sites get freeway noise, but still nice. But some sites are very narrow and tiny patio area. Couldn't watch my outside TV, just not enough room. But all in all very nice. Need to ensure size of sites to get what you need/want.

I stayed for a few months when working down in San Diego. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Place is very clean and had plenty of trees for shade and privacy between sites. They obviously care about the place. A little noisy from the 15 freeway but it becomes white noise after a bit. Close to costco so thats a plus. I would definitely stay again and crossing my fingers I get another job nearby. Thanks escondido rv resort

We had a short stay but it was enjoyable. The sites and grounds are very clean and quiet. We didn't really have a patio area to set up chairs but next time we will rent a larger site. Also, we were in our class C with no car, so it was good to see that there were small shopping areas (groceries, fast food, etc.) within a 15 minute walk in either direction.

Yes, people are friendly. Very few spot throughout the park have any shade. So if you love the heat perfect! It is as pricey as going to Campland on the bay which is way nicer! Our first night here in the middle of making dinner and air conditioning on the entire row that we were on the electric went out! It was over 90 that day and we have dogs. It was awful 😢 I had to wait for them to get the whole block of power back up before we could finish cooking. 2 hours later we ate. I asked to leave with money refunded and we were offered a concrete slab , behind a hotel with no shade for the 384.00 we’re paying. No thank you! The pool is the smallest pool for a public place, I have ever seen and I’m not joking. You think with all the money they charge it would be larger. So again if you think you’re going to relax by the pool you have another thing coming.

The RV Park is beautiful and spaces are as private as I've seen. Mature trees, bushes and maintained landscaping separates each space. The staff is great. The park has a pool, laundry, and clean restrooms/showers. We stayed a month from mid July to mid August. Loved it so much we've already booked 2 months for next year.

I stayed for 5 nights in April 2025. I enjoyed the ammenities and how clean everything was. The staff are super nice and accommodating, and the charges on my credit card were exactly as I was told when I made my reservations. The showers were always available and there was plenty of hot water. The landscaping is well tended and beautiful flowers are everywhere. The dog park takes a bit of a hike up a hill, but was also large and very clean. This park is conveniently located just off the freeway so access is easy. It is a pretty park, and I would definitely stay here again next time I am in the area. Five stars.

I’ve returned to Sunland’s Escondido RV Resort for multiple month-long stays, and it’s consistently a fantastic experience. The sparkling pool is a convenient retreat, ideal for soaking up the California sun. Its prime location near the interstate and local shops makes errands and outings effortless. The resort’s monthly events are a great—think Waffle and Mimosa breakfast, laid-back Sangria Fridays, lively cookouts, and bingo games that bring everyone together. With well-kept sites, reliable hookups, and a warm, attentive staff, it’s perfect for long-term stays. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

The people here are very friendly and helpful. Everything at our site worked great with no problems. There is a pool and a hot tub. The sites are very close together. They are well landscaped and taken care of. Unfortunately, there is no workout room. I also wish there was a walking path to get from the upper sites to the office, rather than having to walk along the street. Amazon will deliver right to the site if the number is on the package, which is really nice.

Sunland RV Resort Escondido is a terrific place to stay! Free coffee in the morning and events held on the second Saturday of the month. Prices are affordable, but not necessarily the cheapest. The heated pool and Jacuzzi are well kept and maintained with a steady flow of foot traffic throughout the year, even in the cold months. ***Key factors*** very convenient grocery shopping and close to anything you may need including freeways!! It's pretty quiet, but the people are very friendly and always ready to have a conversation. Everyone respects the boundaries of privacy and if you want to not be social that's ok too. There are no crazy parties or loud music. Very safe and family friendly. I've personally had long conversations with random people at the Jacuzzi and eventually went out to eat sushi with my neighbor. Sewer, water, electric and satellite connections are very accessible and easy to connect to. There is also an option to pay for wifi if your intention is an extended stay. Highly recommend this place for short and long term stays. Great staff and friendly people. I love this place so much!! I Will always come back ANY time of the year!!
