Estes Park KOA Holiday
Your campsite is just 5 miles from Rocky Mountain National Park.
Our campground is suited for small RV's and Trailers. At 7,500 feet, this campground is an ideal base camp for exploring the town of Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. During peak summer months, take a free shuttle to the town, and to the national park. Spend a day at the national park, with its pristine wilderness, hiking trails and plenty of elk, moose, bear, coyote and mule deer. Drive Trail Ridge Road for panoramic views from 12,000 feet. Across the street from the campground, you'll find Lake Estes and the Big Thompson River with world-class fly-fishing. Rent pontoon boats, paddle boards, or bikes at the marina. Go horseback riding at Sombrero Ranch next door. Just down the road (about one block) is a family fun park, with mini golf, bumper cars, bumper boats and rock climbing. During peak season, enjoy on-site pancake breakfasts, ice cream socials and free marshmallow roasts. There's free Wi-Fi, and the store is stocked with supplies and souvenirs. Camp in a Tent, RV, Rustic Cabin or Deluxe Cabin.
Your hosts: Greg & Peri Ann Query with adult children, Jamie and Mark.

We love this koa! Everyone is so nice, everything is clean! So close to town and the elk visit. Love that the cabins have nice little touches like a reading lamp and plenty of outlets, not a lot of koas have that. I love that there are a couple Family style showers, a nice shop and playground. The views are outstanding!

KOA has always been a one night stay for me. Estes Park should be the exception!! Louie, Dianne and the staff were all so helpful. From check in to back in, they attended to our every question and need. Watched them treat others the same way. They seem to love what they do. Highly recommend!!

We had such a great experience at this KOA. Check in was easy, staff is so friendly and welcoming. Our cabin was clean and so cozy. Bathrooms are clean and stocked. We highly recommend staying here while you explore Rocky Mountain NP & Estes. We will be back!

It's a small, quaint campground. Oddly there's no pool and it sets off a main road so it was a bit noisy. It was a last minute choice for us to have full hookup options before boondocking so it fit its purpose but not much to do here. It was close to an adventure rental which we took advantage of. The staff was very nice and helpful, the bathrooms/shower house was clean and had a couple private ones which I loved. It did have nice views! And we saw some sweet deer. But not a good location if you're staying long.

We stayed at the KOA Aug 10-16, 2025. First visit to Estes Park and was very successful. This campground is very close to town and across the street from the bike paths of Lake Estes. Serving an all you can eat pancake breakfast and coffee at $7.50 for a few days a week. Delicious! Friday “train ride” thru the campground for the kids was a blast! We loved staying in the upper tier w propane fire ring and lots of shady pines trees. (Space #47) The spaces are a bit tight but the camp hosts do an amazing job helping out. We love Matt! Five Stars!
