This was our second camping trip of the year and, compared to the snooty atmosphere we encountered at Mohican Adventures, our stay here was like night and day. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the seasonal/permanent campers were wonderful. One even invited our group to a Powwow. Unfortunately, we could not go because of the heat so we stayed put that day in the shade but she was so incredibly nice. Several talked with us and were so friendly. The shower house was simple but kept very clean. I will take the friendliness and down to earth people any day over a stuck up money grab of a place. If our finances ever change, Evergreen Lake would definitely be a place i would consider for seasonal camping. Thank you and the friendly folks we encountered!

We have been camping here for at least ten years. People are friendly. A lot of full time summer campers have created a nice welcoming atmosphere. It's the drop in people who speed and disrespect the rules. There are a lot of children during holidays and they obey rules and are watched by the community. They also have not only the flush sites but a young man who will come to your camper certain days and flush it's great when you e been traveling and will be spending time there.

Currently staying in a cabin here. I’m not impressed. The first problem is our cabins are basically in a parking lot, however it’s a parking lot we aren’t allowed to park in. When we got there and parked the long term campers were quick to let us know that parking is for them, not for us. We have two boys with us who have been told by multiple people they can’t walk here(just walking around the pond) because it’s a private lot, however these campers have no problem walking through our site and letting their dogs and kids run over to us. We can see and absolutely hear the interstate from our cabin, it’s a stones throw away. This place is packed. Campers are right on top of each other. Each cabin comes with a charcoal grill. We brought food to grill but were not informed that the grill sticks out of the ground at quite an angle. It’s not level enough to use. On top of that I’m typing this from a truck stop bathroom. The cabins have rv toilets that are a little small for a grown man. That’s fine however, as they have bathrooms on site. I couldn’t use them this morning though as they close them around 8 am for a quite a while for cleaning, so I had to leave the campground to find a bathroom. Overall poor experience. It’s only our first morning but I wish we would have saved our money.

My family and I recently stayed for a couple days. We collectively traveled from North Carolina and Delaware. The campground is clean and well groomed. The owners are phenomenal, helpful folks. We were there for the eclipse and although Evergreen Lake isn't normally open through the winter months; they opened for those that needed a safe place to stay. We would definitely stay again. If you want/need a place to stay, you wouldn't be disappointed in Evergreen Lake. They have a swimming pond and a fishing pond along with the typical campground amenities. I encourage anyone to check them out and stay.
