Spent two nights in primitive camping. Enjoyed the terrain of the campsite. Campsite 31 had a nice hill behind my tent with a creek that ran in front. It was about 50 feet to the lake. I went fishing and caught 5 bluegill. You could watch people zip-line across the lake. I took a guided ATV tour through the mountains with Brian Backman. He was so helpful and hospitable. He even brought me a load of firewood. I would recommend this retreat in a heart beat. What sets this apart from The Sate Park is the activities and hospitality they offer. šŸ‘šŸ¼

My best friends and I took the buggy tour and it was a beautiful ride and so much fun. Bryan was an excellent tour guide he was very thorough on the safety aspect of the tour explaining tight turns, inclines, declines, mud holes, and obstacles that could be an issue so that we were more comfortable driving without any surprises. He did a really great job and we can't wait for our next trip to go back for more!!

I took my daughter on a 1.5hr Hill Climb Buggy Tour and we had a great time. Our guide Bryan was excellent. Very fun and informative. I'll be bringing my husband with me next time!

Bryan was our ATV guide for the 1.5 hour trip a few weeks ago, and he was awesome! He stopped several times to check in with how we were doing, tell us about the history of the property and gave us instructions throughout the tour. I would recommend this tour and would like to come back again! ATV equipment was almost new. We felt very safe and had a lot of fun!

We tent camped here with family friends and it was the perfect spot for young kids. Campsite had a great little creek adjacent, super shallow and perfect for the kids to explore and catch crawdads. Nice big fire ring, level ground for tents. Bathrooms at the Harvest Hall were clean. Very convenient to Brown County State Park and downtown Nashville. The ā€œcamp dogā€ is super sweet and the kids loved when he wandered through camp (he is very mellow!) Nice fishing lake where you can watch people zip line overhead. Overall a great, peaceful spot and awesome for camping with kids!
