Falcon State Park is a hidden gem! The lake is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for fishing, boating, or just relaxing by the water. The park is well-kept, with plenty of space for camping, picnics, and birdwatching. It’s a great spot to enjoy nature and disconnect from the city.

A very good place to walk/hike. The trails are not hard but it's South Texas so make sure you are hydrated and have water with you. The lake is low but still a nice place to relax at. There is next to nothing around so be sure to have what you need before you get there.

We went to this state park just to check it out for future visits with the family. The park ranger gentleman at the front entrance was so friendly and helpful, it was really refreshing to have someone really show interest and take the time to answer all of our questions and offer information. The park is awesome and we plan to come back and camp with family.
