Beautiful RV Resort spaces are nice but small. One note though I had left my Jeep unlocked once night and someone went through it and took my pickleball bag.

Deceitful, dishonest. Undisclosed lock site fee. Stopped in to inquire about rates and availability. Was told March was $1,070 and April was $890. On a map they circled the sites that were available at that rate. I drove past them all and picked one. Went back to the office and reserved it. They said I'd get a confirmation by email. Back home I opened the confirmation email and it had a $250 lock site fee on it. Neither of the women behind the counter had ever said anything about any kind of lock site fee. Ever. They just quietly went about the business of circling sites on the map, suggesting I drive by them and pick one, booking the reservation, and sending me on my way. They said nothing when I first arrived and asked about availability, they said nothing when they handed me the map with the circled sites, they said nothing when I returned to the office to book the site, they said nothing when we completed the booking. The only time I ever learned anything about a lock site fee was after I had made my deposit and received the email confirmation. This is an undisclosed fee which I will be pursuing legally. They should have just told me about it from the very beginning. UPDATE: I sent a message about this to the front desk and heard nothing back, so I enlisted the help of the on-site real estate person who had shown me a park model that same day. Still no response from the front desk, no email, no phone call, no message, no explanation, no apology, just a computer-generated email from their reservation system with a revised guest folio PDF attached showing a "Site Lock Fee Waived" credit. How's that for customer engagement/service? Sheesh.

Travel Nurse Came in late due to car issues. Went to gate house to pick up information was literally yelled at by 4 people for coming in so late night before. They stated we were only allowed to come in 8-5 not after hours. No one had mentioned it to me, in fact she stated we recommend you come during daylight hours. Recommend is not you can’t come after dark. I apologized repeatedly but was scolded some more. I mentioned I had dogs no pet limit was mentioned in the reservation, found out only 2 dogs allowed. Was told by manager I had 2 days to vacate due to animals, doesn’t seem to be travel nurse friendly. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Very clean RV park... The people all seem to be Snow birds from around the Various parts of the US... Escaping the cold winters from wherever... To enjoy Tucson's (By-enlarge) Balmy winter climate...

The resort is located on the east side of Tucson with a lot of retail conveniently close. The RV sites are tight but easily accessible with large RV's. Tons of activities and very friendly staff. Great place to be during the winter months. We would return when in the area.

Love Far Horizons however there security is not good. There are many homeless people and thieves who freely come in to the park through the wash and thru the apts and steal people's outside belongings and steal from unlocked vehicles after dark. At least 2x's a week someone has suffered loss. Please beware since no secuity signs are posted and the owners refuse to deter people.

It is a lovely park filled with nice, friendly people.. The sauna is why I picked this park. The hot tub could be a little hotter. They offer a lot of fun classes that will start Oct 18th. They had a great band here the other night. Pickleball is fun. The park is connected to 53 miles of a beautiful bike path. Close to everything you need.
