While the park does offer quite a few amenities, like a large playground, fishing pond, swimming pool and camp store, the inner roads are tight and there is virtually no Wi-Fi any farther than 50 yards from the office. We stayed in site W-16. It was October and we were literally the ONLY campers there on that side of the park which was fantastic, but Wi-Fi didn't reach us and we're an AT&T cellular family...ZERO service until you get down the road about a mile. This actually was a nice "unplugged" getaway for us. It forced the kids to play with each other and use their imaginations. There was a pretty creek with a small trickling waterfall behind our site and a lot of trees. Many of the leaves had already fallen so the grounds were covered making driving through the park a little tricky, but the woman who helped us find our site directed us with a golf cart right down the middle of where the road should be. It's all gravel (new from what I could tell in 2022) and a long one-lane driveway entrance to the park. I did scrape my driver side of the camper on a couple of the trees as it was unavoidable in getting to our site, so beware. Newer bathrooms (outhouses...no shower) were near our campsite and the kids said they were very clean. All utilities were there and the site we stayed at was huge. None of this review was intended to be negative as we had a great time...just beware if you have Wi-Fi needy kids or need to bring work along, you're out of luck here. The best part of our stay was the minimal light pollution, so we were able to stargaze every night. We camped at Farma Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall the campground was decent. Lots of activities for adults and children. Big pool. Our site was not good. W-34. We were facing another family that we didn’t know. It was just very awkward. We have a dog and they had dogs. It was like we were sharing the same space. The dogs would bark since we were so close and facing each other. As I said just very awkward. I feel we should have been told ahead of time that we were sharing a space with another family.

I was a seasonal camper for two seasons and when they raised the rates 500.00 there was no improvement in the two seasons we already spent there. When asked they give no explanation. Their are a lot of camp grounds in the area cheaper and nicer and management that actually care. If you like rude management this is the place for you.

If you asked me for a review 8 years ago, I would have given Farma a 5 star review. Our annual site cost was around $1,800, the place was family friendly, and had lots of activities. The property manager, Sudsy, was extremely helpful and handled issues quickly. We made lots of friends while there and those relationships are what kept us there for 8 years. Every year the fees went up (usually $100-$150), but the relationships we built were worth staying. Last year our rate was $2,500 and although it was a significant increase, we stayed because of the relationships we built with other campers. Sudsy had retired and the general atmosphere had changed. Many seasonal campers mentioned the lack of family feel, and although I agreed, I didn’t want to lose the place where many friendships were established. This year, however, we were mailed the new contract- with a $500 increase and no explanation. What spoke volumes for me is when people began questioning the increase and the owners never responded. It saddens me to think that a place that we invested so much time into, no longer views their campers as valuable. We may have stayed had we been given an explanation. Or if all of those increases had been due to improvements. The bathrooms are original from 8 years ago. Same lack of water pressure and cold showers that we have always had, same dirt and gravel roads that wash out with every rain storm (and there were many). The owner had driven by multiple times while my dad disassembled our site, and he never stopped to say anything. Not sorry you are leaving or glad to see you go. This wasn’t a one season move. We had been there for 8 years. The pros are that they have lots of activities, and great families that camped there (although I am aware of many that are leaving). I am sad for those who are there not because they still love it, but because they can’t afford to or are unable to move their sites. I hope this review helps others who are choosing a permanent site - there are other places with more for the same money or significantly less. It’s just not a $3,000 a season place and they do not value their seasonal campers. That family feel that sold Farma to us 8 years ago, no longer exists. Best of luck!
