I was a seasonal camper for two seasons and when they raised the rates 500.00 there was no improvement in the two seasons we already spent there. When asked they give no explanation. Their are a lot of camp grounds in the area cheaper and nicer and management that actually care. If you like rude management this is the place for you.

If you asked me for a review 8 years ago, I would have given Farma a 5 star review. Our annual site cost was around $1,800, the place was family friendly, and had lots of activities. The property manager, Sudsy, was extremely helpful and handled issues quickly. We made lots of friends while there and those relationships are what kept us there for 8 years. Every year the fees went up (usually $100-$150), but the relationships we built were worth staying. Last year our rate was $2,500 and although it was a significant increase, we stayed because of the relationships we built with other campers. Sudsy had retired and the general atmosphere had changed. Many seasonal campers mentioned the lack of family feel, and although I agreed, I didn’t want to lose the place where many friendships were established. This year, however, we were mailed the new contract- with a $500 increase and no explanation. What spoke volumes for me is when people began questioning the increase and the owners never responded. It saddens me to think that a place that we invested so much time into, no longer views their campers as valuable. We may have stayed had we been given an explanation. Or if all of those increases had been due to improvements. The bathrooms are original from 8 years ago. Same lack of water pressure and cold showers that we have always had, same dirt and gravel roads that wash out with every rain storm (and there were many). The owner had driven by multiple times while my dad disassembled our site, and he never stopped to say anything. Not sorry you are leaving or glad to see you go. This wasn’t a one season move. We had been there for 8 years. The pros are that they have lots of activities, and great families that camped there (although I am aware of many that are leaving). I am sad for those who are there not because they still love it, but because they can’t afford to or are unable to move their sites. I hope this review helps others who are choosing a permanent site - there are other places with more for the same money or significantly less. It’s just not a $3,000 a season place and they do not value their seasonal campers. That family feel that sold Farma to us 8 years ago, no longer exists. Best of luck!

I work for Colossal Construction and I went here to fix an air conditioner on a RV the staff was way to friendly the grass was too kept and the people were too happy! Over all it was too good of an experience.

This is a “It’s not you it’s me” review. This is probably a great seasonal spot but didn’t quite jive with us as weekend campers. Pros: friendly staff, lots of kid friendly activities (we were there for Christmas in July and my 5 year old had a blast at the bubbles dance party and meeting Santa), easy access of 79, close to Pymatuning Lake as well. Cons: we were at site E-405 which is a seasonal site just turned into a regular site and it was a bit like quicksand with the new gravel that wasn’t graded (tough to get in and get level), where our site was felt like everyone was seasonal (with a couple really shabby looking sites) and felt a bit out of place as weekenders.
