An excellent gated community, it's quiet and relaxing. Plenty of great fishing, boating, and hiking. One of my favorite vacation/weekend getaway spots that I have been going to for as long as I can remember

I would not recommend Faun Lake to anyone with moral decency. My youngest sister Cori, who actually used to work at Faun Lake, died in a horrible car crash on the edge of the property of Faun lake. After the wreck my family and I built a cross, covered it with Cori's personal belongings and items that reminded us of her. Not only my family but the larger community came to this in respect and also added to this memorial. It was unbelievable, the love that came from so many people to honor my sister, it was heart warming knowing how many people love her. It's been over two years since this amazing twenty year old girl died and people still came planting new flowers and tending to this small area next to the road. It meant a lot to a lot of people but most of all to my mother who went there almost daily to feel closer to her daughter. Faun lake decided it was bad for their business though so they tore it up the day before they opened. Not only did they destroy the memorial that everyone loved but they took all the belongings, Cori's belongings that should stay with the family. It may have been on the edge of their property but it is the last place my sister took a breath of air. She deserves to be remembered and I have never seen such a beautiful and well kept memorial that so many people went to. It isn't right and I can't believe anyone would ever do this. If there was an issue we could have figured something out together instead of destroying It. They have no decency and deserve no business at all. I attached a before and after of the memorial so you could see for yourself.

Faun Lake is a privately owned and operated property. Each site is owned and as an owner you also have ownership of the park as a whole. We have a board of directors and many volunteers that assist in the operation of the park. It is regulated by a declaration and by-laws. That keeps our property in perfect condition. It is truly wonderful. For a tour please call the office a speak to someone. You will not be disappointed.
