All you could want from a campground and more. All the necessary hookups, the most spacious bathrooms with ample room to lay/hang your stuff. Walking trails and river nearby, not to mention the town centre is all within walking distance. Great value.

we had such a great experience at this RV park. It’s a bit pricey for sure, and like most rv parks we’ve experienced, there isn’t too much privacy while the trees establish…but the basic amenities are definitely better than most RV parks & campgrounds. The shower buildings, toilet and wash stations are really lovely, the water is hot, it’s nice and dark at night to give the camping feel and ensure a restful sleep. There is a train track close by so bring earplugs if the horn will bug you. Overall we can’t complain and the power & wifi kept us an extra night.

Positives: Bathrooms! After three years on the road full-time, we’ve seen everything, and these were hands-down the best. It’s surprising how much that can impact your day and your stay. The only downside was that a sink stayed broken for almost our entire monthly visit. I reported it twice, and it was disappointing to see such disregard for water waste. Negatives: Our spot (second row of Bs) often smelled like sewer and we could never figure out why (it wasn’t us, we checked). They also allow drones, which felt very invasive. I’d strongly suggest a rule against that, along with one about kids running through sites. It happened often and at one point, a child nearly crashed into our grill while it was on (we looked for the parent too). These feel like easy fixes. Even so, this is still one of the best parks we’ve stayed at, and we loved being able to bike everywhere!

Great place to stay for the week. Very clean RV park with ample space on our site. The location was close to biking and hiking trails and the kids loved the bike pump park. We would stay here again!

FRVR is a phenomenal location and great for young families that are looking to experience all of Fernie in a family-friendly and clean environment. We appreciate how the property has continued to invest in amenities over the years with the latest addition of a bike pump track being our favourite addition. The showers / central area are also very modern and quite clean. Highly recommend this location.
