What a beautiful park in a stunning location. We only stopped here for a few hours but already can't wait to go back for a weekend of camping. The gatehouse staff were super friendly and helpful. The trails are beautiful and well marked. The suspension bring was a real treat with fantastic views of the river. They also have canoe rentals. It's truly a beautiful place to explore.

It is a great campground to spend some time with family and friends in nature. The spot we had #37 had more dirt than grass. The photo on the site showed more grass and might need to be updated to be true . We were able to have a fire, which was nice. The washrooms were clean and well maintained. The reservations are done online, and check-in was easy. They sell firewood on site for $8.

Beautiful area. If you're looking to get out and enjoy a beautiful scenery, come here. The trails are well maintained and marked. The views are great. Worth it. Dog friendly, just keep your baby on a leash. Bathrooms weren't open as the park was technically closed still for the season.

Spent a weekend camping at Farris and I enjoyed the experience. The camping is nice and quiet (at least it is in October) and the fall colours started to come through. Did all the hikes which are pretty nice. Short enough that most people can do them. The most scenic part of the park is the river by far. I would have liked to have my mountain bike to do the trail that is designed for mountain biking and hiking. If you're going to bike, know that the trails do have a little bit of rocks and roots to get over. Nothing crazy, but just something to consider if you're used to rail trail. The reason for four stars is because this park is great for camping for a weekend, but I'm not sure that I would go back. Once you see it, I think it's enough. With no swimming, it's not really a great place to keep going back to.
