Ferryboat Campground is by far one of my favorites. The scenery is amazing and relaxing. It just clears your soul! All the staff are friendly, welcoming and nice. There are plenty of activities for all ages. Great for kayaking and fishing!! The young family have a newborn and are still very much involved with their campground. Koddos to them!!

Great location on the river. We enjoyed sitting on the swings overlooking the Susquehanna River. The view is expansive and relaxing. The campground is friendly and well maintained. The restrooms were clean. There was a band playing on Saturday night and a group float down the river. Unique things to do. No pool but lounging in the river is part of the fun.

This is my first time at this campground because I’m from Pittsburgh and we met family out here for the weekend. So far it’s very nice. The lake looks so peaceful and I hope to be on the water b4 leaving (it’s raining). I am extremely appreciative of how nice and clean the bathrooms are. You could literally eat in there and not be worried. I didn’t catch the woman’s name who cleans the bathroom but she is so friendly and the man with her (maybe maintenance?) was very friendly and kind as well. She cleans these bathrooms all throughout the day and not just one time. Please be respectful while using the bathroom/shower because you can clearly see she puts the work in to keep it clean (smells good too). All in all very nice place to camp out. Everyone seems friendly and waves driving past! Definitely worth coming back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Great Family Adventure — Even with Rainy Weather! We recently enjoyed a family vacation at Ferry Boat Campsites and had a wonderful time—even though the river was high and it rained much of the week. Thanks to strong swimmers in our group, we were still able to float safely (no life raft needed!) and make the most of the experience. The campground offers so much for families to enjoy! We loved the ice cream shop, the fun mini golf course, and the live music on the weekends. The Sunday church service was also a really nice touch. We stayed in the canvas tents, which were perfect—each set up on a sturdy wooden platform with a bunk-style bed (single over queen), fans in each tent, and a front porch with two chairs and a fire ring—such a cozy bonus! The tent location had electric and water hookups close by, making it super convenient. The staff went above and beyond by providing an offboard charger for our golf cart so we could plug in for our event. Parking multiple vehicles for our group, while using both canvas tents, worked out perfectly. The service and hospitality here were top-notch—our entire family had a great experience and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend Ferry Boat Campsites for a fun and family-friendly adventure.

As a seasonal camper here it has been amazing to watch the transformation of the campground . Everyone here is friendly and the staff is great ! They all work hard to keep the park looking good. It is like one big family here and I am blessed to be a part of it ! Thank you for making us feel like family .

Ferryboat Campsites is a desirable and fun place to be. Some of the sites are close together but there is still comfortable room, and it is nice when you're traveling in a group with friends or family. They are right along the Susquehanna River so the views are amazing. There are multiple boat launches/river access points throughout the campground which my family used to go tubing and kayaking. The office staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to help us figure out what we needed to do (we are new to camping). They gave us great recommendations to local restaurants, wineries and hiking trails. There is an ice cream shop which also is a winery as well on property, so the kids enjoyed ice cream and we enjoyed great wine slushees. We will be back again.

My family and I love coming to this campground. We spend our days fishing in the pond or river, kayaking, or enjoying the campgrounds activities or bands. They have something for everyone. My husband played cornhole, my kids participated in activities, and we all enjoyed the band they had. The office staff were all incredibly helpful and very nice, they joked around with my family and others in the office. Management even gave us her personal golf cart when we needed one (for free) due to an injury our child had. They were all out of rentals for the weekend, but she happily cleaned hers off and handed us the keys for the weekend. It was very laid back and a place where we made lots of memories. I would bring my family again and recommend it to anyone. We booked multiple trips for 2022.

Incredible Susquehanna River views, clean shower and restrooms, a stocked store with just about everything you might have forgotten and every single person was so friendly. Their head of maintenance (Smurf) was always out and about and spreading laughter and is willing to assist if there is any issues. We will definitely be back
