Great place for a little get-away. Situated on the bay of Anacortes Island there's easy access to biking trails, walking paths, claming, golfing, and plenty of historic places to visit. We reserved a RV spot by the water with beautiful views, even the refinery was beautiful all lit up at night. The amenities were clean and easy to access. Great little RV spot...

Based upon favorable google reviews & nice aerial pictures, we booked for 12 days. The staff in the office were great. The actual waterfront beach was nice, albeit not very wide. The sites that are on the 'East' lot were nice (this is where all the pictures of Motorhomes looking over the water are taken). They seem to be well maintained with lawns regularly mowed. The view is not just of the ocean, but of one of the largest oil refineries on the West Coast. Unfortunately, the much larger lot is the 'West' lot, where we were booked into. In the 11 days we stayed, there was ZERO maintenance of any kind in our West lot. The lots are TINY and not maintained. The grassed area between sites was barely wide enough for the picnic table. This combined with the fact that the majority of the sites in the West lot are occupied by 'long term rentals' in which it is obvious that the renters are responsible for maintaining their site (or not) makes this RV 'resort' like a tale of two completely different outlooks & experiences. The only sites on the West lot that are worthy of rental face the adjacent park or the trail. The rest are really not up to par. Many of the sites are occupied with RV' s that look like they haven't been cleaned in the last 10 years, and / or the long term renter with only a few exceptions don't take pride in their lot to maintain it. I've enclosed a picture of the 'view' from our RV door to the neighbor, a long term rental. Pretty sad that these people aren't given any standards that they have to maintain. Not to mention some of the worst wifi we have ever encountered And as an added bonus, they do not use standard screw in sewer fittings & don'tseal properly. Ask me how I know. We were sitting outside, the neighbor came around the back of his RV, saw us & still proceeded to dump his black tank. The stench was so bad we had to go inside quickly. So, do yourself a favor- be skeptical of RV 'resorts' with zero pictures of their RV sites on their website, and NEVER stay in the West / larger lot, unless you are facing the park. We left early, as the guy in the site right beside us (long term) left for work at 6am everyday, and had an exhuast pipe that was at least 9 inches in diameter on his diesel truck :-(

Very nice sized rv sites. Staff obviously works hard to keep everything clean. Bathrooms and showers are large and well lit. Many options for different sites,, pull through, back in, full power water sewer, water front, groups. Large pavilion for group events. Boat launch inside of resort. Staff is fun and courteous. Kid friendly but still quiet.

Loved our stay here. The people at the office were kind and helpful. Beautiful view of the bay! There is a great bike trail that runs right through the park. We rode our e-bikes to the Anacortes ferry then rode all around Lopez island.

Great RV park with rental cabins available as well. The cabins look like tiny homes, but enough to sleep up to 6 people. A stones throw away from the water which has plenty of seafood to hunt, such as class, crabs (if you have a boat to get out), etc. The private beach makes for fun clam digging, and plenty of them as well! Limiting was easy, and fast! Overall it's a good park, and a fun time for the family.

We spent 3 nights here during early April. The weather was awful day 1 and 2, with gale force winds. The resort has some protection from the wind, so although the wind was rocking our motor home there was no tipping over threat. The bathrooms are heated and handicapped accessible. Each restroom has a private toilet, shower and sink. The resort is adjacent to the Tommy Thompson trail, so bikers, runners and walkers can take advantage of the paved trail. Beware of broken shells (from the birds) along the trail, they could cause tire damage. The view is great except for the 2 refineries across the bay. We saw eagles, egrets and loons.

Clean, reasonably priced, friendly staff and great location. The only negative is the lack of a fire/bbq pit, you have to bring your own or use the community one.
