We recently camped at Finlayson Point Provincial Park with three families, and overall, we had a great experience. The campsites are on the smaller side, so we booked two sites across from each other to comfortably fit everyone. The park itself is fantastic, with plenty of amenities like water taps, comfort stations, and even laundry facilities nearby. There are so many activities to enjoy, from swimming to boating, fishing, and hiking. The only downside was the occasional noise from the hydroplanes and nearby highway, but after a few days, you get used to it. It's a beautiful spot for camping, whether you're in a tent or a trailer!

Great park and beautiful water. Lots of cottages, boats and water planes. Very quiet park with nice sites and some pull through. Great fishing and lots of pockets to check out. Was a nice week and I enjoyed my time here

This park was the final stop in our 2 week trip. Park was not overly busy. Nice boat launch area with fish cleaning station. Park was very clean including comfort stations and washrooms. The staff was amazing! Beautiful place to kayak! We will be back!

We visited this park for the first time from Toronto and we really enjoyed our stay there over the labour day long weekend. The park staff are welcoming and friendly and super helpful to get you any info you may need. The park itself is beautiful and kept very clean. The campsites vary in size so be sure to read the site descriptions carefully so you’re not surprised or disappointed. The washrooms and shower facilities are kept clean as well so no worries there. The park is located right by the lake so there is a nice docking area to launch a boat, canoe or kayak or just fish from the dock if you like. The park has a few beaches but they aren’t big at all but still work to take a quick dip in the crystal clear lake to cool off if you like. The camping here is awesome and we really enjoyed it. People in other reviews are right with the slight noise as the park is near a main road and lake that has motorized boats and seaplane access. As you can see with my 5 star rating it did not bother us at all as the road noise was minimal and the seaplane was cool to watch the couple of times it flew a day but the morning takeoff was quite the wake up alarm some days that gave us some good morning laughs when we woke up late. If you’re looking for absolute remote camping silence it might not be for you. Campsites are kinda close to each other but everyone was very respectful so we had a fantastic time there and I absolutely would come back again someday.

Very clean and beautiful park! Spent our first time camping here and absolutely loved it. We stayed in lot 40 and loved the elevated camping lot - highly suggest when going to book check out what the lot looks like before purchasing as some can be small/close to neighbors/not very private/or not have a picnic bench (most come with a picnic bench and all come with a fire pit). The staff were super courteous and throughout the park I had 4-5 bars of LTE phone signal strength. Make sure you bring everything you need (water, food, soap) as the town is quite small and the next big city is over an hour away. As well the beaches are tiny and no trails so it can get a little bit boring if you don't like to fish or boat. Don't forget to bring your provincial park passport to get the sticker for Temagami!
