We stayed in one of the Cabins for two nights. It was perfect for what we needed. A place to sleep between days of hiking in RMNP. Check in and checkout were a breeze with no contact at all. The room was pretty clean and everything organized neatly. We would definitely stay again. Hard to beat the location close to the Rockies for that price!

This place advertised online “newly renovated” cabins. I thought I was getting a cute little place that was bright, clean, and updated. What I got was completely opposite!!! The carpet was stained, not vacuumed, and I found a toenail imbedded in it. The stools were not safe enough to sit on at the kitchen table. They were both so wobbly and unsafe. The t.v. only had about 2 decent channels. The front door was so thick with paint, it was hard to close, and the lock was a pain to figure out. The electrical is all outside the walls, and lead into holes in the ceiling. The carbon monoxide detector was about 3” off the living room floor, and hanging on 2 screws. The electric fireplace had nowhere to plug into. The electrical outlets in the bathroom didn’t work at all, and in the living room, only 2 of the 4 worked. If the air conditioner was running, you couldn’t microwave anything, as there would be a shortage. The oven was filthy inside. The pan in the cabinet had old eggs crusted into it. The faucets coming out of the walls had rusty holes around them and nothing was packed around so critters don’t come inside. The shower and sink were so small, only fit for a super tiny person! The first night when I got out of the shower, the metal strainer in the bottom didn’t fit in the hole right and I tripped on it getting out. It flipped upside down and there was a gigantic ball of hair from other people who stayed previously. Not clean, not safe, and I’m upset they advertise newly renovated. Save your money!!! Don’t waste it on this cabin. It’s not like they advertise at all!!!!

We stayed for two days in two cabins right next to each other. Which was nice for our group of 6 to be able to open the doors between the cabins and go back and forth. Not bad for the price and location. Not far from town and short drive to Estes Park, Carter Lake and surrounding areas. The rooms were clean, the ac works good. The cabins are aged, the tv has very few channels (no kid channels). We didn't know till we arrived that there was some outdoor chairs, picnic table, fire pit area and grills which was nice. The kitchenette was better than expected and was great to have an stove/oven, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, pots, pans, plates and utensils. But we had brought more of our own for the size of our group.
