The park was lovely. We had a great lot next to the pool and on the pond. The Wi-Fi was horrible. Didn’t work! the hospitality in the front office could use some work. Make sure you bring an extra hose For the sewer because the sewer is next to the road, and you will need the extra length to make it.

Didn’t take trash out regularly not very tidy in off season so I am thinking we may try back during normal season. Was under construction woke up to pressure washer next to our site early am.

This is a nice place. WiFi really does not work. Be careful with some of the spots because you’ll need extra sewer hoses. They put the sewer connection next to the road instead of in the rear. Biggest problem are the people who stay here partying, riding golf carts playing loud music all night. The campers also don’t clean up after themselves leaving trash and cigarette butts everywhere.

BEWARE before booking!! We had to cancel, due to an emergency trip we had to make to Alabama. We were inside the 72 hour window, although the last night of our 3 day booking was not. Stephanie refused to refund or credit any of our stay! When we booked our reservation, the clerk told me we had our choice of sights because the campground was wide open for our dates, so it’s not like they missed out on a booking. You would think with today’s economy, and competition all around, they would want to keep a customer. They just lost this one! *** I would like to add that the GM contacted me after returning from being out of town, and issued credit for our entire stay. Thanks Logan for contacting me!! See you soon!

My friends and I booked our day pass for the lazy river. Easy check in at the front office. The parking area for the lazy river, is it a little distance away. There are several camp pads between the pool area and parking. The bathroom is air-conditioned with a shower. The lazy River it's not that long, but it's long enough. The only downfall to the adult only area, is the bartender does not reinforce the No kid Rule. (adult pool area only) There were a few kids who would run and jump, bringing grass and mulch into the water. After being told to stop, they did.

Had a wonderful time this Mardi Gras at Fireside. So much fun with my husband decorating our golf cart and then parading. Beautiful campground with great campers.

We are here due to a job in the area. After visiting a few different parks, we landed on this one due to its cleanliness. It is the most spacious out of all them and you aren’t right next to your neighbor. (At least in the site we chose) The only real problem is that they’re gravel spots which causes our fifth wheel to sink into the ground because of the rain. It also semi floods the area around our fire pit. They do sell wood if you need it. It’s $9/bundle and let’s be honest, you don’t get much so it is way overpriced but we bought it anyway. It has been quiet and empty up until this weekend. Mardi Gras definitely brought out the partiers. It was packed and very loud late into the night but it seems the rain is driving people out today. I enjoy the fact that there aren’t bright lights everywhere so it is dark at night. You will hear the crickets and frogs which can be peaceful until they all start and then it’s almost deafening. I haven’t used the showers but I did look at them and they’re spacious and clean. Overall I am pleased with our stay but if you’re actually looking for a resort, this isn’t the place for you. It’s not what I would deem a resort so the resort price is a bit ridiculous. I would stay again.

We went for our first time, the campground was very shady, lots were spaced nicely and check in was easy. The kids enjoyed the playground. There wasn’t alot of things to do so I will say I wish they would add maybe a volleyball net or some other outdoor activities. The pool is nice, but I’ll probably avoid during the summer as it doesn’t seem very big to accommodate that size campground. Overall it’s very nice place and worth a stop in.

Can't quiet give this place a complete 5 star. The location is fine, but, there is a horrible entrance. The entrance is in a curve of a busy 2 lane highway. And at night, there is No lighting. Also, a black sign. Not visible! And lastly, they do not enforce the rules. A few trashy campers, cloths lines, etc. And you have to really stretch your plumbing and electrical lines. So, make sure you have extra long lines and extension.

Best campground we have been to and we’ve been camping for years. The lazy river was warm enough even in the cool weather (not sure if it’s heated)the kayaks and paddle boat were amazing the playground is nice and the walking trail is just long enough. 3 of the umbrellas fell into the water from the strong winds and I got into the water to help get them out and the staff was appreciative and friendly. The trees is what tops it off. Halloween activities were fun for the kids. We will be back 100 times. Thank you fireside for the great weekend!
