Known for its laid-back environment, this park serves as a gateway for travelers looking to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the Lac La Biche region. The campground is family-owned and emphasizes a quiet, community-oriented atmosphere where guests can enjoy the simple pleasures of lakeside living without the hustle of larger commercial resorts.

Location & Surroundings

Situated just a short drive from the town of Lac La Biche, the park provides the perfect balance between secluded wilderness and modern convenience. The surrounding landscape is characterized by the lush boreal forest and the expansive waters of the lake, offering a serene backdrop for every campsite. The park is well-equipped to handle various RV sizes, offering a mix of power and water hookups alongside non-serviced options for a more traditional experience. Essential facilities include clean washrooms, coin-operated showers, and a convenient sani-dump station for guests. Additional amenities include:

  • On-site fish cleaning station for successful anglers.
  • A secure playground area for children to enjoy.
  • Fire pits at every site for evening gatherings.
  • Proximity to a public boat launch for easy water access.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

The primary draw here is undoubtedly the water, with walleye and northern pike fishing ranking as the top activity for visitors. For those looking to explore further, the nearby Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park offers world-class birdwatching and hiking trails through ancient forests. History buffs can visit the Lac La Biche Mission to learn about the area's cultural significance, while the town's lakefront boardwalk provides a scenic spot for an afternoon stroll.

Who This Park Is Best For

This campground is an ideal match for avid anglers who want to spend their days on the water and their evenings sharing stories by the fire. Nice lake but campground is along a highway and next to a fire fighting camp. Thank you to all of our hardworking firefighting staff! But plenty of helicopter traffic. No RV water filling station. No RV dump station. No privacy on many of the powered sites as you enter. A place to stay when no other can be found. Ladies at the store are doing a great job though!

This is a small campground on a big lake. The sites are very close together, which is great for campers who travel together. Many sites are separated by a simple wooden railing. The camp store is great. I recommend the ice cream; they have lots of different flavours. They carry a lot of last minute camping items. We loved the stickers! 💟

Beautiful lake, perfect for swimming, small beach area, clean facilities. The sites are not very private, there are a few sites that have trees but there are lots that are pretty open. People yelling, blasting music and setting off fire works til midnight. If the park was better patrolled it would be great. Its beautiful but not very peaceful

Group area 1 was very spacious with a cooking shelter that we used extensively due to the rain. There is a fairly new playground that the kids loved. The area was quiet with a private path to the beach. We would camp here again. Staff were friendly.
