Really enjoyed camping here last night. Nice and quiet. Laundry and restroom facilities with hot showers were very welcomed. Just know there is some construction going on by the river near the restrooms, and they start around 6:45am. But there are plenty of sites nowhere near the construction if you prefer.

Had a fantastic time camping with FTA Happy Hoofers the end of January. The coldest day of the year. We camped at the group fish clan. It was close to the Hwy. Unfortunately heard cars and not the sounds of nature at night. Overall liked this camp ground. Seems well managed. Close to great hiking trails. Water level was low. Next time I hope to bring my Kayak.

Absolutely one of the best southern Florida experiences I’ve had. I went to this place at least 10 times! The people that run the place are very friendly, willing to give you tips on where you can see wildlife. They have canoe/kayak rentals. Or bring your own and pay the 2 dollar fee for the day. They have a really nice camping are with clean restrooms. They also have a food truck with some pretty good food that’s usually open 6 days a week. The terrain up and down river is completely unexpected when you look at the general area around this place. They also have trail heads off the main highway you can park at to access the park. Oh, and if you’re looking to see alligators, you won’t have any problems finding them here at fish eating creek! Super chill vibe here, I recommend to families, couples or photographers!

Great camp ground with lots of trails to walk along the creek. We rented bikes for the kids and they had a blast. All sites come with a picnic table and fire ring and the little store has most things needed while camping in case you forgot something. Firewood can be purchased as well.

We had a family gathering of 16 people on 4 sites. 6 other people came to visit, but didn't stay the night. The ages were 3 to 75 plus a dog and a cat. The 20 to 30 somethings had a great time kayaking and canoeing. The weather was absolutely perfect. We celebrated the new year in style. We can't wait for next year.
