This a gem. We chose this location for its convenient cycle trail access and were treated to one of the nicest Michigan Campgrounds we’ve visited. Ideal for cyclists who want adjacent access to a great network of trails. Great water and sunset views. Impeccably manicured grass and paved sites.

One of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed at. So neat and clean and green grass. Beautiful views, really stinks the city of Muskegon is trying to tear it down just for more money in their pocket. City of Muskegon always ruins everything from the air fair to summer celebration. Glad I got to experience this campground before they can ruin this too.

Loved the waterfront campsite. Many of the sites are close together, so if I was in the thick of things, might not have enjoyed as much. Restrooms were clean and the grounds were in great shape. Campground was very full so tight maneuvers l. Being more of a novice, I couldn't pull forward to straighten out the camper to fit my skill. Staff graciously assisted me in backing into my site.

Place honestly sucks. Tenting area is backed up to a parking lot. Some drunk dude on a golf cart, I imagine the manager, told us to take a storage tent down at 930pm and apparently it’s an extra charge for a 2nd tent, that we said we were going to have. Has not been pleasant staying here at all and if it hadn’t rained last night we’d be gone already. Still considering it. Not nice or welcoming hosts at all.

I cannot caution you away from this campground enough! The worst campground I have ever stayed at with the most unfriendly staff! Kicked us out for moving a traffic cone out of the way of a car that was running. That’s what happens if you try and be helpful here! They freaked out and proceeded to follow and watch us! The location and the other campers were great, and friendly.

Got a good price and tent site near lake. First come first serve for tent sites. Would be 5 stars but sites not maintained very well. Nice showers and bathroom area, and firewood available on site.

This is a beautiful place to stay-right on Muskegon lake and close to Lake Michigan and walking and biking trails. Kay and her husband are so accommodating and take wonderful care of the grounds. love staying here and can’t wait to come back!)

The management doesn't like younger people camping here. They came up with lies and bogus reasons to tell us when couldn't reserve anymore nights. We have children who love to camp but, we will never be going here again. If you have children I'd steer clear of this campground. Tbh it's a forgotten about campground in muskegon. I understand why now.

Nice clean campground. Showers and bathrooms were clean. I just wish they had air in the restrooms and sewer hook ups for the campsites.

Nice place, great for fishing or staying for a short drive to MI adventure. The front gate is a little frustrating at times not opening super easily. Overall a good place to stay especially if your in the area for other activities or fishing.
