Was NOT overly impressed with this campground. The noise curfew was completely ignored. Drunk folks screaming after midnight and music til the wee hours is not super peaceful. Don't trust the pics of the water feature. It might have been clean and blue once upon a time, but now it's a brown, murky, weed filled puddle. The mini golf was cheap, but the threat of splinters, spider bites and tetanus made it still not worth it. Several times we had to reach into the crumbling features to retrieve a ball that got stuck. The one bright spot was that the bathrooms/showers were regularly cleaned and in good shape. Most of the seasonal sites are in good shape, but more than a few look like a shanty town after a natural disaster with intricately layered blue tarps everywhere. The "perks" of this campground make me want to stick to state parks.

A great place for families. We had a blast. We tent camped (no water or electric) at a secluded site (Wilderness 1 and 2 are the best). Renting a golf cart is a must because the tent sites are furthest away from the amenities. 2 play grounds. The swimming hole isn't dyed blue but do you want it to be? Not too deep with a water slide. Lots of volley ball and basketball courts. Mini golf is a little outdated and same with the arcade but it's very affordable and kids had a blast. Small bar for the older rowdy adults. The front desk ladies were so nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a nice family getaway.

My wife and my service dog were drugged 4th of July weekend this year by another camper that is apparently related to the manager. From the voicemail there will be no follow through. It makes me sick to hear that you will over look people having issues. I will make sure the sheriffs department comes out to do walk arounds with the K-9 unit to ensure other campers safety. We really did like the campground but we definitely will not be back.

This place was beautiful! A little slice of paradise. The pines all around are gorgeous and campsites are badass! I stayed in the primitive camping aka the oaks was beyond awesome its literally in the woods no one around you it gets really dark and camp staff is hands down the best ive ever experienced had a awesome maintenance man named Kurt who cleaned out our fire pit for us and was a good convo the owner stacey is welcoming and really nice ! All in all i spent 8 days there and was one of the best campgrounds ive stayed at and I camp regularly. 10/10 experience with staff and the grounds it self come and check it out your self had a private pool nature trials and friendly permanent residences thank your for the pleasure of staying at a beautiful place like this!

This used to be an affordable, fun family camp ground but since new ownership took over (R Journey) it has gone way down hill. Every month there are issues with billing being incorrect. There have been several new “fees” added on without any communication from the company. They are now threatening putting everyone on auto pay due to late payments but the bill is never correct to pay it. Last summer I stopped in the office several times to pay and kept getting told my bill was incorrect and they were “working on it”. During the winter months they started charging a $22/month fee after we were told the fee would only be charged during the open season. They communicated that they would be reading electric once a month. In the month of April they read my electric 2 days in a row. They charged me $5 each time and said that I used almost $9 of electricity in 1 day when we weren’t even there or running anything. Several others used less than $2 of electricity and got charged $27 in fees! Weekend site rentals used to be affordable as well but now they cost so much that families that have been camping here for 20 years are no longer coming. The price went way up with no improvements of the campground. The bathrooms don’t even have working faucets.

Water in the swimming pond is cloudy. Bathrooms need to be updated and spider webs cleaned up and removed. Nice there is a band there sometimes. Regulars aren't very friendly to weekenders. Campsites are very close together and packed in like sardines.

We are tent campers Pros: Clean bathrooms, friendly customer service affordable, nice beach. Cons: The owners do not enforce the noise curfew, so if you're not in an insulated rig, be prepared to hear tons of music and obnoxious conversations until 2am. The site are right on top of each other, so you get no privacy. Basically, this is a party town on the weekends and not a place where you can enjoy nature. My family and I probably won't be back.

Sites were extremely small and very tight together. We camped in the Oaks section with no one in the two sites next to us—Only reason we were able to see a little bit of nature. Many of the permanent campers are in poor shape needing thorough cleanings and clean up around them. Had moss and mildew all over the picnic tables. Bathrooms appear to be clean. Small bar area, food was good. Would not go back just due to the tight quarters of the sites and roadways extremely narrow to get a camper through. Would be very difficult to get anything over 25 foot backed into most of these sites. Too many trees and everybody is on top of each other. Pond water was extremely green!!

Definitely on our list to check out again. Very affordable, great fun for our kiddos, and I liked how all the non-permanent sites were located very close to everything. The sites were pretty large compared to other places we have gone, but it is EXTREMELY sandy. Only gripe other than all the sand was that the electric panel was set pretty far off from the back of our campsite, so we had to really wedge our popup into "just" the right spot where our power cable could reach and also allow us to pull our beds out without hitting trees.
