We had no idea this campground existed, and we are happy we stumbled on it. We camped for three nights and had a blast. The campground was small, with only 27 spots. There was a pier for fishing and picnic shelters. The bathrooms were clean, and we were close enough to town that getting ice was no problem. We hiked, fished, and enjoyed the amazing sunsets. We will be back next year for sure.

The campground is well maintained but there's not much to do here. There's no swimming, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. on the lake, so it's really only good for bird watching, fishing, and scenery. The shores are muddy and the water level fluctuates throughout the day. There's also currently construction on a nearby dam, which is interesting to watch from afar, but means it's rarely fully peaceful. There are really no hiking or biking trails from here either. We rode to the nearby Windjammer and general store (thanks only to ebikes due to the monster hill) but found them both closed on Mon & Tue. Also, TMO and VZN coverage is barely existent and channel scan didn't pickup any TV at all. Take a book, a fishing pole, or go intending to spend time exclusively with friends or family.

Overall a well kept campground, the rangers are very friendly and welcoming! Beautiful small lake, great for catching small lake trout. Several picnic shelters, a clean bathroom, an unbelievable sunset over the lake one night. This year there was a lot of broken glass on the bank making it really hard to feel safe letting kids/dogs play. Nice campground but you are not in a secluded area. The construction this year also went all night which made sleeping a challenge for a lot of adults, kids played hard enough they didn't mind. Book early if you want to camp here. Day use is available.

Beautiful place to camp. The view was spectacular! It rained most of the time we were there. So couldn't explore much. But will definitely come back in the warmer season to camp and explore.

One of the best places we stayed -- stunning beauty. We didn't have the best spot, but, that's nit-picking. This place is DROP-DEAD GORGEOUS. The giant red rock plateau... the beautiful reservoir, the baby swans... OMG. This is not a "pack 'em in" RV park. This is a hidden gem, worth the extra driving.

Nice little campground and picnic area, beautiful ride on a motorcycle or scooter (150cc or bigger) restroom, amazing scenic backdrop on the lake too.

Close to home but a good place to get away from the rat race

Our family had a great time, there is electricity, no shade, not a far drive to Loveland for food supplies, wild life is awesome!

Tee Pee's were amazing. I love this place, we come every year family camping and always leave happy with our choice to once again spend it here at Flatirons Reservoir
