We had an amazing stay! The glamping site was clean, cozy, and well maintained. It felt like the perfect mix of nature and comfort. The tent was spacious and comfortable, the surroundings were peaceful, and the experience was unforgettable. Perfect for a family trip or a romantic escape.

This may be a great place to stay, we don't know. We stopped off our route west on I10 with our rig because high winds kicked up and being high profile it got too risky. We tried calling ahead to no avail and pulled in anyway, there were plenty of open spots but the office was locked, no one answered the ring doorbell, we called the phone number from outside numerous times but got no answer. We ended up leaving to find somewhere to batten down the hatches before it got too bad to haul. I just wanted to share a suggestion as someone who runs a campground/Airbnb's, I always watch the weather.... whether it's storms, wind etc and make sure someone is always available at those times at the very least because people change plans and stop off unexpectedly to get out of bad traveling conditions. This was actually only one of 3 different parks we tried and couldn't reach a person, so maybe this is the norm in the area. Someone did eventually try calling back from the park but we were already headed to another park. The place did look roomy and we saw chickens, which we love to see as homesteaders. Some pretty cool cube structures to rent too.

We had such a great time at Flatonia Retreat & RV Resort! The cabin was super cozy and felt like a little home away from home. We loved grilling at the BBQ area and hanging out by the lake—it was so relaxing. The kid play zone was a huge hit, and it made the trip easy since the kids were always entertained. Overall, it was the perfect mix of relaxing and family fun. Can’t wait to come back!

Great stay! The room was clean and comfy, and we loved the pond for fishing and paddle boating. Feeding the chickens, bunny, and goats was such a fun touch. The grilling station made meals easy and enjoyable. Perfect mix of comfort and nature—highly recommend!

Great park close to town and an easy drive from Houston, San Antonio and Austin. Lots to do in the area! Reserved for 3 nights in our RV but decided to stay a 4th. The sites are gravel but level, good spacing between sites and there are some small shade trees scattered around. We loved the farm feel with the petting zoo! The rates are very reasonable and the best part was the free laundry (at least I think the machines were meant for guests lol). Dennis made our stay great!

We had a great family and friends retreat here! Kids enjoyed petting and playground. The place has beautiful tree next to the lake where people can do camping. Cabins are clean and comfortable. Great for family with kids and for hosting events!

We had an amazing time at Flatonia Retreat and RV Resort! It was the perfect weekend getaway with friends. We relaxed by the peaceful lakeside, grilled some great BBQ, played music, and just enjoyed the fresh air. The kids had a blast playing soccer and feeding the chickens and goats — they were all smiles the whole time! We stayed in the “Tesla House,” which looked super cool and was incredibly comfortable — stylish, clean, and perfect for a couple of relaxing days. The whole place has a laid-back vibe and plenty of space to unwind or explore. Highly recommend for families, couples, or groups looking to disconnect and enjoy nature. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Great place to stay for Czhilispiel that is held each October. Host is friendly and hospitable. Park wifi worked good too.

This is a very nice park, tucked away from the interstate. While you can hear some road noise, it isn't bothersome. The sites are grass, fairly level and are kept well maintained. We easily parked our 35' class A with plenty of room left for a toad. Sites are wide so you're not right next to neighbors. The price is very reasonable. We saw several sites that appear to have long-term residents (one is even ready for Halloween). There is a laundry room and restrooms next to the office. Our only drawback was the uneven pavement at the park entrance. And we'll go back next time we're in the area.

Right off I-10!!! Super easy to find!! Long pull through and shorter as well! Wifi worked A+, and was soooo quiet considering right off interstate. We felt safe, and left our RV there unattended for a week, no issues. All grass, but leveled spots. Laundry room, lake, and nice grassy spots for picnic under huge trees!! Enough for 2 car only, no more. The guy checked us in was informative and nice. The price was good value for location, wifi snd safety. We know where we pulling for next hurricane to get out from the bay!!! 💯👍

I was very pleased with the gentleman who answered phone and checked us in when we arrived. Park well manicured, clean. I only have one complaint, site was not even🙁. Refueling close as was food. Only stayed over night. Would I stay again-yes. Priced ok, lots of long term people. Also lots of baby frogs!
