A bit dusty but love the place. Don't like the parking rules. But the bathrooms and grounds are kept clean. The garbage trucks come by and keep that clean. The Lagoon was the place to be to beat the heat. Going back the same time next year! It was 15 of us this time next time, more!

Great launch ramp, only problem is people blocking ramp and docks because they either have no common sense, no respect for others or are just clueless. Wished they would watch the process from a distance until they understand the process.. It's really simple. Prep your boat before getting on or off the ramp. Load your boat with ice chests and supplies before entering the ramp. Loading boat and securing items for travel are NOT to be done on the ramp. Keep your boat, trailer and vehicle off the launch lanes until your trailer is ready to launch or retrieve ur boat from the water. 😲😲😲 All fish were successfully released back into the lake👍

I didn’t even get to actually go hang out at the lake. Apparently they charge you for day use even without a boat which ok fine some places do that but their website makes sure the link to the “fees” is at the bottom of the site written in tiny little letters so you won’t find it unless you’re looking hard enough. So we drove all the way there just to find out they charge a whopping $20 (per vehicle) just to enter and another $10 if you have a dog (per dog). 1st paying $20 seems a bit extreme just to swim in a lake. 2nd why the heck would I have to pay extra to bring my dog with me?! I turned right back around and just drove a little extra to visit Pinecrest. A BEAUTIFUL lake surrounded by trees, FREE parking, and a snack shack that has pretty great food.

We had a great weekend. Made reservations online. Staff is friendly and helpful. Clean campground. We had a picnic table and a fire pit. Restrooms and showers are close if needed. We will be back.
