This place is amazing and the service is on point. They keep the property clean and the landscaping is beautiful. The views and location make this RV park a little slice of paradise. I would spend every free weekend I had here. I asked the manager to light one of the communal fire pits, but it was going out due to the wind. He brought me and my wife our own propane fire pot and set it up for us. 5 stars definitely rebooking in the future.

My little sister had booked 6 spots with ocean view to celebrate with her family and on Friday 09-19-2025 at about 7:05pm the rudest guy in a golf cart came and told us we were being too loud. it was Friday at 7:05pm so we said ok, and turned our music down and kept trying to have a good time even with low music. Then again at 8pm he came back and yelled at us and said to shut it off and we were confused because typically quiet hours are after 10pm so we had to turn our music off at 8pm on Friday night which really put a damper on the evening. Then Saturday 09-20-2025 at almost the same time he came again and told us to turn down our music and we were starting to get frustrated because it's Saturday evening and it was NOT that loud, again we turned it down and again he came back at 8pm and told us "This is your last chance" and peeled out his golf cart throwing dirt all over us. I don't know what's going on with the employees here but this is not professional and not acceptable, this was and is supposed to be a fun spot on the beach not a quiet retirement home. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND THE SECURITY GUARD SHOULD MOST DEFINITELY BE REPLACED.

We love it here. Yes it's pricey, but we are willing to pay the price. Once you stay here you will understand. We stay here several weeks a year. Best part is there are no disrespectful campers. You can actually come here and relax in the peace and quiet.

We visited Flying Flags Avila Beach in June 2024 and were truly impressed. The grounds were beautiful, the amenities felt upscale (which helped justify the high price), and it was such a relaxing stay that we were excited to come back this year. Unfortunately, this recent visit was a big disappointment. The bathrooms had no toilet paper on several occasions, forcing guests to use paper towels if any were left (which is gross and not good for their sewer system). Quiet hours weren’t enforced at all, so loud guests went unchecked late into the night. We also saw dog poop bags just left on top of garbage cans, with no staff monitoring or cleaning it up. To make matters worse, the fire pits were broken. Overall, the place feels neglected now. At these prices, you expect a premium camping experience, but you’re not getting it anymore. It’s shocking how quickly things have gone downhill. Honestly, I’d suggest skipping it and paying $50 more for a hotel—you’ll get better value and a much more comfortable experience. I’m hoping the owners/ staff see this and make the necessary changes before they lose business as we would love to return to the same place we visited last year.

LOVED IT! We stayed in one of the cabins with our 2 dogs and it was absolutely perfect. Safe walking right to the dog beach and the pier, easy access to the road but far enough off the street to be peaceful. Can’t beat the location for quiet. Cabin looked out over the bay, perfect way to wake up. Fire pit was amazing so comfy and nice. Kitchen lacked basic utensils but was fine for what it was intended. LOVED THE DOG BOX with treated and a water bowl and towels and couch cover. Bedroom with queen bed was fine, nice little standing closet to hand nice clothes. Bathroom with full shower and nice hot water to warm up after some evening mist. Overall amazing place, probably the best part of our trip.

Friendly and efficient staff :) Beautiful camp grounds, big clean hot showers and bathrooms :) coffee, hot choc and water available. What more can u ask for?

We rented a cottage for the weekend and it did not disappoint. Not sure who enjoyed it more, us or the dog! The cottages are perfect for dog owners because they have the enclosed patio. All staff members were extremely nice. Texted us throughout the days asking if we needed anything.

Stayed at #13 Sunday night. My bro-in-law stayed in his partner’s mobile home and we stayed in our own cottage with our own bathroom facilities. Maybe the weather is helping with that 5 stars. Attaching photos. Those jupes below us is a way to save some $$$ if you don’t want to rough it in a real tent but don’t want to pay for a cottage.

A beautiful and well-planned campground. There are 2 types of accommodations there if you don't have your own. Bungalows and unique tent dwellings. Stunning views.

The campground is gorgeous! Although not completed, we love the views and location! We stayed in site 44- Super Premium Ocean View and had an amazing stay. The weather was perfect, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The cabins are adorable from what I can tell. I have posted a few pictures of the the walk in tent sites. I am not quite sure where you park or unload but its a cute area for smaller tents. The canvas tents are being constructed, see photo. Summer is high season and has a 7 night minimum. I can’t wait to come back when the pool and cafe are open!
