Folsom Lake SRA/Peninsula

Folsom Lake State Recreation Area (SRA) is located in the Sierra Nevada foothills of El Dorado County, California. It is situated in the historic Coloma Valley, where gold was first discovered in California in 1848. The recreation area is a popular destination for outdoor recreation, offering a variety of activities such as camping, fishing, boating, swimming, and hiking. The lake is a popular destination for water sports, including wakeboarding, water skiing, and jet skiing.
