If you are looking for a high end, fancy camping resort - this is not the place. However, if you are looking for a campground with amazing views, spacious lots (albeit unlevel - but manageable with leveling blocks), well kept grounds, acceptable facilities that has a quiet, appreciative of nature vibe - this IS the place for you! This was my families first trip here and we are already planning our return trip! The staff were beyond amazing - we weren’t aware of the unlevel lots (as I mentioned. - it was our first trip here) and didn’t not have enough blocking to help level our camper. Not only did they offer for us to switch to another more level lot, but they offers us the use of leveling blocks for the duration of our stay, AT NO CHARGE! You don’t see that anymore! Not to mention to nightly rates were beyond reasonable. I can’t recommend this spot enough! And you sure can’t beat that sunrise view!

We love camping at fooshee, have been several times, but this recent stay was unpleasant. Our campsite was very unlevel so much so that our camper was so high off ground that we couldn't use our door to our bathroom because the steps were so high, luckily, we had a wooden box step for main entrance or our puppies wouldn't have been able to go in and out of camper. The bathhouse is always clean but it needs over shower shelf or something to put your shampoo and washcloth, etc. Although the lake is beautiful, there's trees that have fallen at campsites and they're just laying in the water, it makes the campsite look bad and holds a lot of trash in water. Also need to weedeat banks and make sure campsites that have someone coming in are mowed, we had tall grass and had to weedeat it ourselves due to our puppies and grandkids. I hope they can correct these things because it is a great place and it is very pet friendly. We just learn to choose our campsite wisely from here on out and find a more level one.

One of the nicer campgrounds we've been to. While the setup of utilities was a bit odd, as others have stated, we made it work. Our site was spacious and the view was amazing! Camp hosts were all very nice and helpful. Will definitely return!

I recently camped at Fooshee Pass and had a really good time it was so relaxing and the staff and the other campers were polite and friendly, the hot showers were great the sites were very clean it was a good environment I hadn't been here since I was a kid it brought back many memories. The only thing I didn't like is all the vegetation in the water, made it hard to fish and my grandkids was a little afraid of it. I would definitely go back

Phenomenal little campground. My family gets together here at least once a year now and more if we can make it. They have amazing campsites with 30/50 amp hookups and while they don't have sewage at each site they do have a decent dump station. Also most sites have direct lake access so you can pull your boat up directly to your site after using their private boat ramp that is specifically for the campers. If you need to make use of their 2 bath houses the first one seems much newer and better maintained. Like I already have stated, my family loves it here and continue to make plans every year for the foreseeable future!!
