Starting our second year as a seasonal at Forest Lake and I have had nothing but a wonderful experience. The owners do a great job keeping the campground friendly, quiet and clean. They really try to accommodate any reasonable request. Many of the campers have been there for years and have been friendly and welcoming. There are activities if you want but the most appealing thing to me is to just relax and unwind!

A really beautiful campground right on the lake. The grounds are nice. It can be noisy on the weekends but things do quiet down during the quiet hours. The staff could use a bit more organization (originally lost our reservation and also forgot we had paid and called after we left asking for payment) but they are friendly.

Forest Lake Campground and its owner , Pete, were God-sends. My husband and I were in our RV on our way to our home in Georgia from visiting our sons in NY and Canada, and family and friends in the New England states. We were so tired and worn out, just trying to find a spot overnight and not having any luck though calling numerous RV parks. Though Pete shared with me that they had completely closed for the season, he said said that yes, he would take us in. He and his wife were so welcoming. We were experiencing some problems with our RV, and he so graciously helped my husband dismantle the awkward and heavy, broken slide topper and put it inside our RV. We got our much needed rest overnight and continue on our path to Georgia! Thank you Pete and Forest Lake for meeting our need. May God bless you richly!
