This park should be the Thousand Trails gold-standard! This is the 3rd park we have visited in the system during this year's grand vacation. The first 2 begged me not to re-up. 5 more to visit. Hoping this is not the exception.

We have stayed in these cabins three times I thought they were absolutely great. We also have the adventure lifetime membership. That’s absolutely wonderful and we love camping at Forest Lakes

We had a fantastic stay at Thousand Trails Forest Lake! This campground truly has it all—clean bathroom and shower houses, two laundry facilities, a fun playground, two pools, mini golf, basketball, sand volleyball, tennis courts, and even a big screen for community movie nights. The lake was perfect for kayaking and fishing, and we loved exploring the peaceful forest walking trails. The gravel pads were level and the paved roads made getting around easy. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend this campground and would absolutely come back again!

This is a big place. Our first site wasn't what we wanted at all. Joey however took the time to find us the perfect spot. He was very helpful, definitely looking to please us. We drove better than 8 hrs,as we litterally went thru the gate my phone was ringing! The thousand trail rep was eager to sell. This was a definite turn off! Last thing we wanted was to be solicited at this point! Joey was a gem !

This is a big and full park. They have several.pool, playground, and lodge. They did not have any kid or family activities. There are several bathrooms but only 1 per big loop. Staff is super nice.

Do not come here after dark! Campground does not have lights or signage so it was the worst experience we have had. Even at the gate they have a box for late check ins but no signage on it. There is a gate code that was randomly written on a sheet with no explanation. Our site is also terrible… goes downhill and our rear tires are not on the ground when we leveled out. Absolutely horrible 0/5 stars.

Daughter staying at this site. We made a visit and were impressed with the facility. Unlike most RV parks now days, this once offered some nice space between sites. Stay Safe - Keep That Nose Covered

I have been to this campground a few times. I like that. It's good and wooded. At the current moment the campground is getting updated with new sites. So there's a lot of work going on. I am sure in the future this place will look great with the new sites.

My wife's parents the one's that own a membership here, and have for a few years now. Her parents let our kids camp with them for a night out of the usual 3 or more they stay during the warm months. At first, this place was great! Owners and staff were very friendly/helpful, the other campers were always friendly and respectful of one another. There was always something to do (fishing, swimming {pools and a small pond}, outdoor movies drive-in style during the summer, put put, more hiking trails thank you could care to get lost in, and more than enough other things to keep you occupied if you needed. BUT.... this sadly is NO LONGER the case! 😠The owners have changed hands once or twice (not sure how many now) over the past 4 years and the current one's have made it PAINFULLY clear what they are all about... No longer is a fun, family oriented, good ole outdoor camping experience anywhere near the top priority for these individuals. The pond went from a cute mini-beach looking swimming hole/fishing spot to an overgrown algae and trash filled cesspool. They stopped maintains the trails (many quickly became totally inaccessible), ugly construction style netting was place around ANY spot leading to trails (or any trees for that matter) with signs claiming "wildlife/nature* preservation, and as of here in the past couple of months, that was just a joke as almost ALL of the wooded areas have been savagely bulldozed over to add another 100+ camper spots by Christmas! It was already ridiculously priced and crowded from day one, but now it's in line to be just an overpriced trailer park and a sad example of greed and disregard for nature overall! It saddens me that it's been reduced to this and for a couple if not more grand a year, it's plain robbery! Shoot, lest than half that price, I'll let you park in my backyard and treat you to a thousand times more pleasurable camping experience!
