Forks 101 RV Park

Overview

Forks 101 RV Park serves as a practical and welcoming gateway for travelers exploring the rugged beauty of the Olympic Peninsula. Located directly within the small town of Forks, Washington, this park provides a straightforward, well-maintained environment for RVers. It is designed for those who want a reliable place to park while spending their days immersed in the nearby wilderness. The atmosphere is quiet and functional, offering a sense of community among fellow road-trippers and nature enthusiasts.

Location & Surroundings

Situated right off the iconic Highway 101, the park offers unmatched convenience for navigating the west side of Washington. While the setting is in-town, the surrounding landscape is defined by the towering evergreens and misty horizons of the Pacific Northwest. Guests can easily walk to local grocery stores, restaurants, and the Forks Visitor Center, making it simple to resupply during a long journey. The park serves as a central hub between the moss-draped forests and the rocky coastline.

Amenities & Park Features

The park focuses on providing essential comforts for a smooth stay. Each site features full hookups, including 30 and 50-amp electrical service, water, and sewer connections. Key features include:

  • Level gravel pads with pull-through and back-in options
  • Clean restrooms and hot shower facilities
  • On-site laundry and cable TV access

These features ensure that travelers have the modern conveniences needed for a comfortable multi-day stop in the rain forest region.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

The primary draw of this location is its proximity to Olympic National Park. A short drive leads to the world-famous Hoh Rain Forest, where ancient trees are draped in lush moss. For those drawn to the sea, the dramatic rock formations of Rialto Beach and La Push are less than 20 minutes away. Fans of pop culture will enjoy exploring the various filming locations and tributes to the Twilight saga found throughout the town of Forks, adding a unique charm to the experience.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is an ideal choice for active explorers who view their RV as a mobile basecamp rather than a destination itself. It perfectly suits big-rig owners looking for easy access and level sites without navigating narrow forest roads. Because of its central location, it is a great fit for families and couples who want to be near essential services and dining while remaining minutes away from some of the most diverse natural ecosystems in the United States.

Although the on-site staff were friendly and helpful, no one tells you about the neighbors and their everyday, all hours loud music. And let’s not forget the gun range at the end of the facility. So yes, decent place but don’t go there to sleep or enjoy the great outdoors. Also no refunds are given when people finally get tired of not being able to hear peace and quiet, and just want out. Good luck…maybe try Outdoor Adventures RV park up the road instead.

We came here to this park and are very disappointed. Very loud residential neighbors right across from our campsite. The green trailer with the sketchy area blared thier music very loud for hours. Yesterday they did it for most of the day. The entire week it was every evening for hours after they got home from work. It is very loud. I could hear it over rhe tv and rain outside. We decided to leave because it was disrupting our peaceful stay. I am an author ypu needed peace to focus on my books. My Husband is a veteran and noises get to him as well. I when and complained to this about them and the young girl with long back hair said they have been dealing with thus all summer. So she admitted it was an issue. They knew about the issue and would not issue a refund of two weeks. The bathrooms are also very gross especially the showers. Definitely needs updated. Wouldn't recommend. We left for a better location down the street.

Check-in easy, very polite staff. The issue is the Park itself. At least the sites in our section. To say run down is too kind. Some definite attention need be applied. At least it was quiet.

Decent campground, the campground itself is clean and well-mangaged, with full hookups and amenities(bathrooms, showers, on-site laundromat) it's definitely comfort and a good place to stay, but it's nothing special, it's really just a driveway in town with some spots and there was some stuff left to be desired. The shower rooms were scary on first glance with a rusty door and an eerie paint job leaving one wondering if it was clean, but despite the room the showers themselves were clean and had hot water. The campground has good access to town it's very near a grocery store, restaurants, shops, etc. but is not very close to Olympic national park, it is an about a 45 minute drive into the park.

I really enjoyed my week here at Forks. Nice laundry facilities, reasonably priced. Very friendly manager/owner. I'd definitely stay here again.
