My wife called to reserve a spot for a cooperate work trip and was told the cooperate card was declined. Shit happens, no biggie. Out of curiosity, they said they would hold it for a little bit while we figured it out. We called back to try again and AGAIN. Declined..... ugh lol. So I called another location, used same card and it worked fine. I then called back and explained to them that since the card was declined at their location but worked somewhere else, we would be forced to use the other company. I was then informed that I would have to provide another form of payment to cover the cost of one night. I was told I had to pay them because of their courtesy of holding a spot. Then when I questioned them, I was hung up on.

We stayed here for two months, and our experience was absolutely wonderful. From the very first day, the staff at the front desk were incredibly kind and helpful — every single time we needed something, they treated us with great attention and respect. They received countless packages for us with no problem at all, and always with a smile. The bathrooms were always spotless — very clean, well maintained, and everything worked perfectly throughout our entire stay. The park itself is peaceful and quiet, especially at night, which made it the perfect place to rest and feel at home. The whole area is calm, the people are friendly, and we truly felt welcomed and cared for. We’re very grateful to everyone at the campground for making our stay so pleasant. Everything worked perfectly, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended!

We stay at this RV park twice each year when our travels take us through Amarillo and it never disappoints. The sites are large, the park is pristine and the office staff is always helpful and reliable. Our favorite is the lovely dog park, and the playground is enormous, as well . Lots of appreciated green space and even an underground storm shelter!

Very clean park. Lots of place to sit and relax. I do wish the dog park grass was cut shorter. To hard to find your owns dogs poo but very easy to find others. To the guy that waters the plants and flowers around the pond. Really a nice, funny and cool guy. I like to give him a 10 star rating. Thank you for taken our stay over the top.

This is our first time to stay at Fort Amarillo RV resort and it didn’t disappoint. Everyone is so friendly and the park is beautiful. There is a little walking path in the middle with water falls and chairs to sit and relax. The pull through spaces are easy to get into and out of and are very spacious. And I forgot to mention The Lizzie Mae’s gift shop, it’s amazing, they have home decor, candles, gifts, mixes and so much more!! I highly recommend this park!

This is our 2nd time to stop here. We come to Amarillo for doctors appointments in between workamping jobs. Both times we have had something come up due to a doctor’s appointment that required us to stay longer than planned. Both times they have gone above and beyond to help us stay in our site for the additional time needed and I know this last time was a challenge. I appreciate their willingness to help us out more than I can say. I highly recommend this park.

This is a very well maintained and operated RV park. It is the nicest facility in Amarillo. The layout is great and the facilities are first rate. You'll enjoy your stay here.

We pulled in for one night on our cross country trip and this place was great. Easy to find, friendly check-in, laid out well, roomy spaces separated by small fences, plenty of parking for your rig and vehicles. They have a dog park, catch and release pond, playground and indoor heated pool. What more does one need?! Oh, and GREAT WiFi and Cable! If we pass through the area again, we will surely stay here. Also close to food, route 66 attractions and parks.

Facility is very nice.. women's bath was especially nice. Large fenced dog park. The front desk woman was very helpful. I think they should enforce "cleaning up after your dog". Another park that I stayed at recently enforced with cameras and fine and it was a pleasure not to have to watch where you step and watch your dog's nose..
