Very quite and peaceful campground. There are no trails and the campground loop is small so the daily walking the dogs was rough 😜 We saw a rafter of Turkeys along with deer while visiting. The one camp host was friendly and enjoyed driving around and talking with people. Verizon and AT&T services were good.

Had a great time there caught a lil sun fish. My son caught paddle fish. I only wish people would clean up after them selfs. That way we could keep enjoying this place.

Great place to view the dam and gates. Park area is trashy. Corps or other responsible agency should do better.

The directions on Google are not correct. The campground is on the west side of the lake. Quiet retreat. Knocked off 2 stars for cleanliness and stupid position of dump station. You would have to go through the campground again after you dump. Should be located on the way out. Spike strip located at exit. Is going the wrong way really an issue there?!!????

We went Memorial weekend. The campground was well taken care of and the restrooms were clean. We had to use the GPS coordinates listed on recreation.gov to get there. We will definitely be going back.
