Fort Mason City Park RV Camping in Mason, TX

We have loved this park and the park host here. But going up on prices at the beginning of the year makes no sense. This is a city park and there are no amenities to justify the price increase. They have so many things that could be done here. Dead trees need to be cut down and take out the pits that no one uses. They only mow if they have events in town. The lights in the RV park were changed right before the rodeo. They do have two washers and two dryers but no change machine. The bathrooms are not great and hot in summer. Some spots do get hit with golf balls from the golf course. You also have to watch for flying disc because the liberals added disc golf stuff throughout the place.

Not sure about the review a week ago. We come here often and have never had any issues. This has always been a great place to stay. The RV spots are big and the kids love the playground. They have two washers and two dryers but bring your own quarters, no machine to change bills. We don’t use the restrooms here. They need some sort of fan in them. Prices have been great but heard they are going up 1st of January. We won’t be coming back and paying those prices. This is a small town and a city park so not sure why they would charge resort prices. We can go stay in Fredericksburg if we want to spend that much. Bring back the small town people that ran the town.

Park people rude.
Skeeter's were bad.
And there was this old creepy guy,  in an old SUV, that followed us and was spying on us. My wife was scared to use thr bathroom because he may of followed. Creepy.
Not a place I'd picnic or take a child.
Creepy.
Avoid it.

Has been an awesome stay. They have an awesome park with, Full RV hookups, 9 hole Golfcouse, playgrounds, special events area, nature trail, & an arena, which a roundup was going on when we were here. Well kept facilities.
