We found a little piece of paradise. It can be very relaxing but you’re also only minutes from the beaches. It’s great to see the area bouncing back from storms. The employees also help make the place amazing. Thank you. We will be back.

My husband and I and our dog Daisy really liked our stay here at this resort. We have a 40 foot fifth wheel with an 8 foot 350 diesel truck and we just had enough room to get in and it was OK. The people there are very nice and very pleasant, you’re located right in the middle of everything a short distance to the beach and a short distance to shops. In fact, if you have a bike, you can ride your bike everywhere. We will be back next year. That’s how much we enjoyed our stay. We were there for nine days and loved every minute of it.

We chose this location online and were pleased with our selection. The first night, the spot they put us in was not ideal. We were right next to their road construction, and equipment were going through our space. One call to the manager and she gave us several options for relocation. Grassy areas, quiet and pet friendly. We met a lot of nice people. Outdoor pool on site, laundry room, shuffle board, and occasional activities (we did not partake in as we were spending most of our days in Cape Coral with friends). We did look at other rv sites on the area for future trips and found that we had chosen well. Many are in repair mode from the hurricanes, lots of construction or in poor shape, others were beautiful with larger spots but pricey. For the price we are happy. Would recommend.

You are better off staying at a Walmart. Paid $100 a night to stay at a dump. If you have a long Rv very hard getting in. All sand and new rocks. Wish I could post pics. Looking out my window and looking at a mobile home that was totaled from the hurricane last year.

Very quiet but very tight. Backed in to my sight with no problem though, with the help of the person who works there. Real close to the neighbors, you can almost shake hands out your window.

Great location! It's 5 minutes to Fort Myers Beach with no traffic. Its a small park. It also has a pool and shuffleboard. It's clean and they have security. They do pack them in like sardines tho in season!

Stayed here almost a month and although many spots are tight we got a good spot between two houses. There is a mix of people who are full timers, snowbirds and short term vacationers. I enjoyed activities including kayaking and potluck dinners. We enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. They are one of the few places that allow more than 2 dogs. Staff very friendly and helpful. Folks here all very welcoming and felt very safe and right at home. It is kept very clean and would definitely come back!

We just stayed here for a few days, and we loved it. It’s cozy and super clean. Really nice people all around. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and quiet… the rec room is nice and clean as well. We will definitely be back!!!

My family had a great time here! The staff was courteous and very helpful. It may have taken a little longer than normal but with a pleasant attitude I didn’t mind waiting a little longer for the best spot. We were able to park our rig with no worries and began exploring what they had. Everything was nicely maintained as the facilities were always clean. They had some really nice amenities like the workout center, a spa with a hot tub and whirlpool! It was so nice! The laundry facility was decent and didn’t cost an arm and a leg to wash our clothes. This place gave us a SINKING feeling..Called for reservations and had a very pleasant phone experience. Called again to confirm reservations /physical address & also had a lovely experience. Figured out that calls for this encore/Thousand Trails park are handled not by the resort but by a call center or clearinghouse of some sort. May not seem like a big deal, but read on to understand how this kind of thing impacted our experience at one of their parks. (note: also read my review of the sister park Pioneer Village in North Ft. Myers to get a story of our full experience). Call center provided check in/out time for this resort as 11 a.m. Arrived just after noon to be told that check in was 1p.m. but the nice woman at the office offered to get us settled anyway. Upon reviewing our reservation, she determined the site that was set for us (O-17) was likely not large enough. Blame was placed with the call center for that error even though they specifically ask for details of your rig including length, type and # of slides. She was running the office by herself (Sunday) and was getting some regular interruptions...though she also seemed very scattered. She checked on several other possible sites and finally phoned someone to help her determine where to put us. After much back/forth +2 more calls, it was determined that we would be put on site A-8, a site between two manufactured homes. Rode to the site to determine our best way in with the rig. The office direction was to ignore the narrow one-way streets in this instance and take the rig against traffic into our site. After looking the location and logistics over, we agree this was likely the right thing to do. Got out/walked the site to ensure there were no hidden issues or obstacles since sites are VERY close together. We have a 35 ft. Class A. The swing in was a little tight, but do-able. Upon making the turn we knew we wanted to back up and straighten out a bit once in. That, however, was not to be. As the front wheels reached into the site about 2/3 it's length the entire rig SANK into through the lovely LOOKING cover of crushed shell and light gravel and into very soft fine black sandy soil and all the way up to our axels! There was no moving forward and no backing out. Another resident attempted to rescue/stop us just as we sank. he dove off his bike to run up and try to warn us not to attempt that site. Too late, sadly. He was aware because he said there had been a large truck that pulled into that site just days before which also sank and had to be winched out by a tow truck. Interestingly enough it was the truck delivering the load of those lovely covering crushed shells and light gravel! Back to the office where the poor woman working there was completely covered up with people trying to check in and others with issues with their sites. (assigned sites too small for the rig, a resident there for an extended stay reporting he was without power at all for the 2nd or 3rd time in a week.) We explained our situation and she seemed to think a couple of folks in the campground could get together with their vehicles and pull us free. We were finally able to get her to understand they were going to have to provide a tow truck to remove our rig from the sinkhole. The management of the park covered the cost of the tow truck as well they should have. There was no argument about that at all and I give them kudos for that. The new challenge was that we still needed a space for the next 5 days - & for the 4 hours while we had been dealing with a sunken rig, the resort had been placing folks in spaces & now was back to having just the first site we'd been issued by the call center (O-17). Office lady though that now somehow we should magically fit if she just got enough folks down there to direct my husband to park. About then the manager arrived he on site gave us the option of putting us at one of their sister parks. At that point I was happy to have anything for the night so long as we were safe and hooked up. She called and made reservations for us at their North Fort Myers park, Pioneer Village. (Please see my review of that location to get the entire story). All in all this was a mixed bag experience for us. On the negative side, of course, was the sunken rig and no space at the convenient location we had researched, chosen, booked and paid for. Also on the negative side was the constant statement by the woman at the office that the "call center" was to blame for all the woes of this park. Finally, the other negative was that the sister site, while it had space for us and worked out fine, was far from convenient to where we had planned to be (nearly 30 minutes north). On the positive side, the staff was nice, they and management handled the problem created by their assignment of what they knew to be an improperly prepared space and paid for the tow. They also stepped in and made suggestions and the call to book other accommodations for us. My other observations of this park of note: a number of permanent residents in mobile homes (NOT park models) are on site. area seems clean and roads well maintained. no trash about. the pool LOOKED great and inviting from the office and parking lot. spaces are very very small and very very close together. $53/night high season, Good Sam discounts available but you must ask. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
