I hate to say it but this campground is absolutely not good for tent sites. They are all against the highway and it is NOISY. The only bathrooms I could find were locked at night and not opened until 7am. The rules were confusing...an example would be that they rent fire pits, and ask you to not use it on the grass but rather on the gravel. Meanwhile my campsite was only grass. I arrived late at night and could not see anything so I had my car parked by my site on the road and sat in the car until light. I go down to the store to ask about where I should be parking and get told I can't have my car by my site...yet every other camper with a tent had their vehicles right up on the grass by their tents. And then I notice that apparently you can't have more than one tent per site. Me and my adult son were not about to share a tent so I said enough and left. I literally spent like 2 hours there and couldn't see us enjoying our vacation in any way, shape, or form there. Thankfully though I found a lovely campground up the way call Fort Steele Campground. Had a fantastic vacation there and will be returning to it as much as possible. Steer clear if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful stay in a tent...you won't find it here.

Stayed there the past couple months. Owner really ruined it for us. Not a good person at all. Don't recommend staying there at all. Contact me if you need more info.

We spend one night here and this great campground. There was a lot to do and see. The only downside is, that the playground is fairly old and very close to the road and the bathroom would need a renovation pretty soon. Other than that, it is a great place to stay and I would still recommend this place.

Nice RV facility. Pool was really nice. Site 19 had shade, but no grass and was the worst site there. There are laundry facilities and a gas station. It is clean and reasonably well kept. The Emu's at the neighbors over the fence were fun to watch and were curious. There is a small lake about 5 miles north at a rest stop that would be good for canoeing

I booked two sites last year 2021 for us and my daughter and son-in-law, because of COVID we cancelled the booking because of inter provincial ban. I tried booking today and wanted to use both deposits for one site only as my son-in-law and daughter could not make our dates that we were going to use. The lad who answered the phone said we cannot use both of last years deposits for our site, we can only use one. What daylight robbery.

Stayed over just one night while passing through, all three staff I spoke to were super friendly and very helpful! Stayed in an EV so can only comment on power (50 amp stall) which was solid throughout the night, and the WiFi isn't amazing but not too shabby either. Store is very well stocked with lots of neat items.
