Beautiful spot to camp. Very quiet during our mid week visit. Clean bathrooms and showers.

What a beautiful lake with great sunset and sunrise views. The lot we had was a great size, with tons of shade. The lake is perfect for boaters. Unfortunately, we were there on a holiday weekend where there were so many boats, we were unable to do any fishing. By Sunday morning, the restrooms were unusable. Our "leashed " dogs were confronted twice by unleashed ones. And we couldn't keep the ticks off us or the dogs, so we had to abandon ship early.

I stayed at the Cedar Point RV campground and was ecstatic with the set-up of the sites and magnificent views of the lake. Such a treat to stay in such an attractive and well-maintained campground. Just outside the RV campground were beautiful picnic areas, tent camping sites, a small playground for kids and a frisbee golf course, all well kept and inviting. Unfortunately the marina was under construction but you could still go to the boat ramp for the view. Foss Lake is huge and has multiple areas. I drove around to check all of them out. The RV sites didn't have the great lake views as Cedar Point but were completely serviceable, and each had its own personality. The Visitor Center is clean and in addition to some souvenirs and maps, contains a few exhibits (a beautifully preserved white deer greets you). The young lady working the desk when I stopped in for a map was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Awesome all around. Oklahoma State Parks got it right with this one.

Our stay at Foss State Park was at the Sandy Beach campground. 10 sites with most having a nice view of the lake. Park was clean and had showers/bathrooms at the top of the hill a few hundred feet from sites along with the dump station and dumpster. The shore was lined with rip rap rock, so I'm not sure why it was called sandy beach. We had a pleasant stay and would stay again. We were in site #8, and all were back in sites.

What a HUGE park. For the Cottonwood campground, take the Cedar Point turn in from the main road. It is marked from there ( but not from the main road). Very nice office. So friendly! Our camp spot was a drive through. It was Pretty large. We did the Heart Healthy trail. It is mostly level. I don’t much like walking on rocks so this was really nice and easy. The lake is huge. It was too cold for any water activities for us. The only down side was how lit up the other campers were all night! Oh well, that was truly my only issue, so a non issue.
