The park's layout is straightforward, focusing on providing a clean, quiet place to rest after a day of sightseeing.

The park’s greatest asset is its position between downtown Colorado Springs and the historic charm of Manitou Springs. Situated along the Fountain Creek corridor, the park provides a sense of transition from urban life to the rugged beauty of the Rockies. Being near Old Colorado City, guests are within a short drive to eclectic shops, local art galleries, and diverse dining options. The surrounding landscape is defined by the looming presence of Pikes Peak, creating a dramatic backdrop for your stay.

The sites are primarily level gravel pads, arranged to maximize utility while keeping the focus on functionality and ease of access for larger vehicles.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
The park is perfectly situated for outdoor enthusiasts and history buffs alike. Just minutes away, you can explore the towering red rock formations at Garden of the Gods Park, which is a must-see landmark. Additionally, the nearby Midland Trail offers opportunities for hiking and biking, while local museums provide a deep dive into the rich mining and pioneer history of the region.
Who This Park Is Best For

Nice people, sketchy area, we are losing our camp grounds, they are now the new generation trailer parks, workable for an in and out for small camper, hard to get to if you have any size.

This is an older campground that appears to have several full time camper. The staff here is friendly and have provided excellent service. It is also located within easy driving distance to attractions, shopping and dining.

Close to amazing places: Garden of the gods, Red Rock Open Space, and of c, Pike’s Peak, to name a few! This quaint campground is between to a tree-lined section of Fountain Creek and Cimmaron Ave (not too noisy). The staff and residents are friendly. Overall, a great value!
