We stayed here overnight. You have to go to the recreation centre multiplex to pay for your spot and get your post tag. When we arrived at the RV park, another unit was backing into our spot. They moved but it was an unpleasant encounter. The campground itself is lovely wide spaced spots and access to all facilities. The booking system is less than optimum.

Great place for overnight or longer. Full service for RVs, big and small. Non serviced sites as well. Approximately 20 each of both types. Serviced sites are more open and non serviced are in the forest. Dump station on site. Easy 15 minute walk to grocery store and gas stations. Great cell phone reception. Close to highway so some noise but that didn’t bother us. No self serve registration on site. You need to go to the recreation centre, open until 9. First come, first serve. We grabbed the second to last site around 6pm. Would recommend.

Great little park. No office, but registration at the multiplex or drop box. Close to VERY scenic walking path system right beside the namely, Fox Creek. Several deer are residents (or timely visitors), with numerous animals and birds. Public washrooms were tidy and clean

This is a nice campground. In addition to the serviced sites, there are about six unserviced sites that are nicely treed and thus offer some privacy. The shower facilities are good, though bring a tooney or two loonies. This is also where potable water is available for the unserviced sites. There is a senior’s (60+) rate for camp sites, but you’ll need to ask for it if my experience is an indicator. I became aware of it only from the sign at the entrance, and not based on my phone inquiries. The traffic noise from Highway 43 is fairly noticeable but this is part of the trade off when located close to services in the town of Fox Creek. A good stopping spot based on my experience.

Everyone here that I met in person was extremely friendly and helpful. This is a small but clean and well kept facility. Unfortunately the Registration process is very awkward and not user friendly. You have to drive around the campground pulling your RV to find a site. them you park your RV to keep it from being taken by someone else. Then you are supposed to fill out a registration form on an envelop and insert the correct amount of money depending on what site you were able to find. Then you are supposed to deposit that envelop at the town office somewhere. They don't tell you where. The sign at the camp grounds States that your registration must be paid in full 1 week prior to camping. (Really?) A local gentleman phoned someone working in townhall and was told that the week in advance wasn't necessary. (Thank you kind gentleman!) Apparently the town office is somewhere near the beginning of the road heading toward the campgrounds. I decided that it was too late at night to unhitch my tailor to drive to town deposit the envelop, drive back to my site and hitch up again. I'm going to risk it and make that deposit on my way out. The couple in the next site are planning to do the same thing. It's unfortunate that I had such a difficult time registering because this really is a decent campground. The sign also said that if you are prepared to pay by credit card you can do so by phoning a certain number. I don't know how late they accept those calls.

Easy amenities, not so easy to convince your friends not to get a DUI trying to leave
