In the nearby town of Humboldt, visitors can explore local boutiques, regional dining, and various historical markers. The area is also popular for birdwatching and nature photography due to the diverse riparian habitat surrounding the campground.

Love love live this place. Rented a cabin for my grandaughters birthday and it couldn't of been better. Host was great greeting me in a friendly manner and instructed me on payment.

Small park and campground on the Des Moines River and a gravel bike trail. No trails for hiking but great views of the river and canoe launches.

What a beautiful and Tranquil Park this is. So many things for the kids to do a nice big shelter for a family reunion. Bathrooms are clean and close by we had a wonderful time. There have been a lot of memories made at this park as our family reunion has met there every year for almost 100 years.
