Great location if you're looking to hit Frankenmuth up for a day or two. Indoor pool is nice if you are camping outside the summer months. Definitely spring for the sites in the back of the campground on the north side. Those sites are larger and more roomy. Grounds are well kept and staff was friendly. I don't think I'd want to camp here in the busy season, as it's a bit too small for the number of sites, but it does make a good late fall spot if you're looking to do all the Christmasey things with the family in Frankenmuth after halloween.

A couple of things that I’d like to point out. When chilling in the hot tub, a staff member decided to specifically target myself and my BF. Although there were others drinking in the hot tub, they specifically told us to get out. They did not ask the younger individuals whom were drinking to exit the hot tub. There were more than 8 in the hot tub but did not kick people out. The worker in the photo also did not confirm that the individuals under the age of 14 had an adult in the hot tub with them! Been coming here for years with my nephew. Also, our alcohol was concealed in a mug whereas the others were not. Again, why target us? The other drinkers drinks were not concealed and questionably of age???? Thanks for targeting us. Now-onto the showers. When you are charging almost $100 a night, there is no reason hot water is unavailable, no reasons the buttons for the showers turn off so quickly, or the shower heads be junk and not give you a good stream. I’ve now come to the conclusion this place is profit driven, not welcoming/prejudicial-not all inclusive, and not something I’d recommend. Below are the photos of the worker who targeted us and the hot tub he left full with the individuals still drinking, under the age of 14 without their adults, and more than total of 8.

Will never go back. The park has a convoluted check in process and are extremely rude about it. The rule is that there can only be 2 cars per lot and that any additional cars had to be parked in their lot. told us we could bring all of our cars back to the cabin to unload as long as one of those cars goes back into the parking lot. Great. Except when we got to the entrance they yelled at us immediately about having more than 2 cars. Not only was this rule inconvenient, the stickers they give you to grant access don’t work and the staff will be a pain about that as well. Basically don’t come here if you need the staff for anything . To them, the biggest inconvenience is their job. Not too mention, they’re all concerned about this 2 car rule without even considering the size difference between a sedan and a truck. So I can’t drive my Chevy spark back to the cabin but the people next to me can have 2 giant F-150s, 4 trump flags and 8 children’s bikes scattered nearly in the road. Avoid if you can. Just stay at a hotel where you’re actually accommodated and not policed

We did not have the experience a recent reviewer had. We had an absolutely lovely time here. Starting with the office, the young women in there were wonderful, and respectful. We had no problem with security at the gate. We originally had a smaller site booked but opted to pay a little more for a larger site. Bathrooms are clean and comfortable. We were camping with our daughter and son-in- law and our 2 1/2 year old grandson. He had a blast. The playground and both pools (indoor and outdoor) were amazing. Thank you to everyone at Jellystone Park for a great weekend.

We were aware that sites did not have fire pits at them before we got there. We were not aware how absolutely tiny the sites are. We had a group of four trailers and luckily we all got next to each other because you get cozy with your neighbor real fast. There's barely room for a picnic table in your lot. The people across from put their canopy out and it actually went over top of the next trailers slide out (see pictures) If that wasn't bad enough, every single one of the people in our party of four sites had words with security on their way in to the park. The security is unnecessarily rude. There is a crotchety old man that drives on a golf cart and literally everything out of his mouth is negative. I don't know if he's the owner or head of security. He was berating a young lady when I went into the office to check in. She was 20 minutes early to check in, as was I and the people in line in front of me. But he chose to tell this young lady how much she was inconveniencing them by showing up early and how they can't do their jobs. I get his point, but A) don't let us check in early, B) don't berate your guests because even though I wasn't in her party I still heard everything and though he was a total A hole. The security girl sitting at the gate made rude remarks to everyone and at one point I said I'll never come back here again. She called Mr crotchety over and told him I said that and he proceeded to follow me to see what site I was staying in to make sure I wasn't allowed back in there. My group had about 8 kids all together and at separate times had run ins for no reason with security or Mr. Crotchety. It's like they don't want campers there. I've never had any issue at a campsite and this place seems to create issues for people in my party and other people I noticed around the site not in my party. You could hear complaints everywhere of how small the sites were and how rude they were. The girls I'm the shop and at registration were very nice and the pools/hot tub seemed nice and clean. The kids had fun which is why I didn't give one star. But none of us plan on returning.
