Immaculate campground and laid-out well. Sort of hidden away on a dead end road. Nice restrooms, pavilion, landscaping, FHU, with roomy sites. A bit expensive but the clientele appears to be above average compared to less expensive campgrounds. I suppose the cost prohibits a rougher crowd from camping here. Plus they wouldn’t fit in. Not that we do, but peace and quiet is important to us. Only one bar of AT&T 5G but the free and dependable WiFi makes up for it. The campground sits in less hilly terrain than our previous site, and this end of Franklin has a pretty good produce store six miles south of the campground as well as a fantastic organic food store called Yonder that is about four miles north on the southern edge of Franklin. Plus there is a southern route back into Highlands which goaded us into finally climbing Whiteside Mountain. About sixteen miles south of the campground in Georgia is the Foxfire Museum which is definitely something to see. An outdoor half-mile hike through the woods and over twenty re-located Appalachian cabins scattered along the trail. Many artifacts and hand-made tools and furniture dating back many years. On the way back north to the campground we stopped my Blue Hound BBQ and were not disappointed with their championship fare.

Just an absolutely lovely campground! Only 22 sites, but they’re big and beautiful sites. Quiet and peaceful, with a wonderful meadow and creek to let our dog play in! (We kept him on a long line). Rick was the best camp host we’ve ever had (we’ve been camping for a decade). So welcoming and personable and always there to help. It was the best maintained and lovely campground we’ve ever been to. So clean and relaxing. We’re back home now and miss our “home” in NC! Looking forward to returning in the future.

We love this campground, it’s always so clean and neat. In spring and summer, each site has blooming plants. The manager Rick is always so helpful in locating the camper in the right spot on the site. He makes sure all is okay and is available if you do have a problem. We love the Franklin area and are so glad we found this park our first camping trip.

We and family/friends have been camping at Franklin RV for several years. Usually twice a year, Spring/Summer and Fall. The campground is well kept and always so beautifully landscaped. Rick, the manager, is always so accommodating and on top of everything. We always use the awesome fireplace and grill at the pavilion and invite family nearby. We met the owners on our last visit - such a beautiful hands-on family. And the location is perfect for us. Definitely recommend!

This is such a great place to stay and enjoy, and from the park travel out into the mountain area and scenery. It’s such a clean park with nice sites and pretty landscaping. It’s convenient to local businesses, but you feel away from all of that while in the park. We always make a point to stay twice a year. The manager is so capable and so nice, and he makes you feel like a friend. Thank you Franklin RV for providing such an enjoyable place to stay and unwind.

Owners are wonderful people. The park is beautiful and well manicured. The host, Rick, shows everyone to there spot and accommodates your needs quickly. This has to be hands down the nicest place we have stayed on our with our rv. Even had a free cookout while we were visiting. We can not say enough about how wonderful our experience has been and will be definitely coming back.

We enjoyed our stay both times and the improvements to each site are very nice. The park is well maintained, clean and attractive. The outdoor pavilion is wonderful. Rick is extremely helpful and friendly. Easy access to Winding Stair Gap on The Appalachian Trail for a short hike, 45 minute drive to The Blue Ridge Parkway, short drive to Wayah Bald; a winding drive up but the view is incredible. We will be back!

This is a beautiful campground, located far enough off of the highway to be peaceful. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly. We will definitely stay here again!

A gem of an RV campground with a range of site types and prices to choose from. All beautiful, well-manicured, and large sites. Clean and sweetly-appointed amenities, beautifully lit at night. Warm welcome and orientation from staff. Would love to go back. Give highest recommendation possible to other campers/rv-ers.

Absolutely fantastic. Feels like being in the middle of nowhere I'm a beginner solo camper, this was my second time for full hook up, first time backing up with camper trailer. Rick/camp host made the whole experience pleasant. Definitely would return. A relaxing ,cozy, rv/campsite.
