Tricia and Gary are the most wonderful hosts! Our site was number one and it was quite large with a place for us to keep our car undercover. They allowed us to use their four wheeler to go on all their trails (for a donation) which was absolutely amazing! We had our tour guide, Nellie, they’re amazing dog who stayed with us the entire time. She was an excellent tour guide. She showed us the way to go. We can’t recommend this park highly enough! The views are spectacular and it seems you can see for hundreds of miles! You will not be disappointed!

This RV park is one of the rarest of rare hidden gems—the type you want to rate 20/5 stars. But you also DON’T want to…because you’re suddenly a greedy, needy camper who loves the place SO MUCH that you (almost) don’t want to share. Not. Joking. Run by the ultimate gentleman, Gary, and his charming wife, Tricia, the park boasts a total of…wait for it…8 spots. Yes, 8. You’re likely to immediately think, “Boring.” You’d be wrong. Sorry. There’s an office with a pool table, gaming table with everything you could want and a borrowing library as well as HAMMOCKS! More on that in a moment. There are also multiple hiking trails, corn hole boards and horse shoes for outdoor fun, and more. And should you need ANYTHING? Gary and/or Tricia are there and willing to help, their presence unobtrusive but felt in every small detail. Have (well-behaved, not-tippy-barky-please) dogs? BRING ‘EM! Their dog, Nellie, is likely to say hello. And if they’re truly good camp guests, you can let your furry family run off leash. This is our dog’s most requested campground ever! And the 8 sites? Well, remember the hammock thing? Each spot has a fire pit, picnic table, covered pavilion (!!!) and…hooks for a pair of hammocks. You’ll want to utilize this at sunset. I promise. Heck, I’ll even pinky swear! NOTE: Do NOT miss Blair Family Farm & Market, either! Just down the road is a local farmer who raises the BEST beef ever (and we’re from a ranching family!). Set-the-bar quality meats and a handful of local goods (jams, jellies, syrups) are always available. We bring an extra cooler to stock our home freezer. At their prices, it’s just smart. (And it means we eat well between visits!) And did I mention the quality? It bears repeating. Basics: 30 & 50 amp service, full hook-ups, ample parking, level and well-laid gravel pads, shaded areas and we received about 60 tv channels with excellent reception. We utilize Starlink and had the best reception with top speed service; no interruptions. Bottom line? This is tied as our #1 favorite campground in the United States. We come here to get away, for the friendship growing with Gary and Tricia, and because, well, every time we pull up, it feels like we’ve come home.

Frank's Point of View is such a special place. The location sits on the top of a mountain overlooking the Talladega National Forest and every night was a spectacular sunset during our four-night visit. Gary and Tricia are the most welcoming and hospitable owner-hosts imaginable. There are just eight spacious sites on their farm property and they have done a commendable job in constructing roomy well-appointed FHU sites that are spotless when you arrive! Each site has an individual large covered pavilion! This is a quiet, rural, peaceful, dark-sky kind of place, so come with your best Zen attitude. Miles of hiking trails through the property, a fabulous assortment of Tricia's preserves, honey and wine in the camp store, and a farm store for beef on the grill right down the road round out the experience. In of our many years of camping, this one takes home the award for the most pleasant stay in a beautiful place with beautiful people!

We were travelling to an area nearby and the Frank's were able to accommodate us on a days notice. This place was absolutely stunning! The view was incredible. The site was good sized, level, and had a covered area with a picnic table. The office/ campstore had a few odds and ends but they also had their own assorted jams, relish, pickles and other all organic goods. Everything we purchased was really yummy. We can't wait to return when we can stay longer.
